"Daddy has things to do, Mom will take you to wash up."
Tong Ran held Chennchenn and turned to walk upstairs. The little guy lay on her shoulder and pouted to the motionless Mo Beiyan, "Daddy is so cute."
Tong Ran quickly went upstairs, washed him up and changed his clothes, then led him downstairs for breakfast.
She walked into the bathroom with Chennchenn's towel but was blocked by someone coming out.
Mo Beiyan had just taken a shower, and his wine-red hair was still dripping water. He stood in front of her, reached out to take the towel from her hand, bent down to wet it in the sink and wrung it out, then handed it back to her. "Why don't you let me hold Chennchenn?"
"It's not that!" Tong Ran said honestly, "You smell like perfume, and I don't want Chennchenn to be exposed to these things too early."
"Then I'll come back earlier next time."
