Alas! A crackle of energy sparked from the ritual. What followed was more energy flows all around the smoked room. The four demons had done it at last. They had set the seal free, but now they needed a simple way to reach the real world. They could not cause chaos too soon. Not before they brought back the Demon King. For a second, the crackles of energy faded, almost as though the summon refused their call, but then a dark energy filled the room, thus the summon was centered near the circle.
The summon was someone they recognized. It was the armored man with a halberd. The demons whispered to each other silently about whether or not the ritual was successful, made assumptions about how powerful he was. Could he send them to the real world? He had mad aura, but when he turned his head to look at the demons, he knew his time with Xion was over. The armored man with a halberd knew his time with Xion would come to its end one day, but for it to happen so soon was mad him furious. Ikke the only one brave enough walked up to greet the armored man with a halberd. He was terrified & kept shaking. But this was not Xion, the most powerful demon who he was most terrified of. He was different.
"You must be the one we summoned? The one who could guide us to the real world? We did not get to properly talk last time. How about we talk now?" Ikke asked politely.
All it took was one look to give Ikke the shivers. It was him alright. He could sense how powerful he was now. He might seem friendly at first, but he could not deny his look or his power. It was one of pure hatred for someone.
"I am the one who has accepted your call. I was told that you with your friends seek vengeance, is that right? If so, consider it done. You tell me what to do. I'll do it. But if you don't need me, I suggest you leave me be." the armored man with a halberd stated.
"I need to know if it's really you? ahem. I mean if you're really that powerful" one of the demons asked.
Ikke pushed them back then whispered, "He clearly is. Don't you all see how powerful he is. One finger is all he needs to destroy you."
"Oh yeah. We aren't so easily convinced. Although it might be true that he knows Xion, that doesn't mean he was the one we asked for. Your aura could all be fake. "
"However, you decide to settle this, I'm down" the armored man with a halberd said.
"But know this, if you don't impress me in the slightest, I will NOT follow your orders."
Ikke, "c'mon guys. Let's talk about this first."
"No!" one of the demons charged at the armored man with a halberd, and without even moving a muscle, the demon was pushed back by a strong wave of energy. The demons tried to advance together, but no amount of force could push back on what felt like a non-movable wall. All Ikke could do was watch his companions hopelessly push the wall. The armored man with a halberd then slammed the halberd to the ground to channel his dragon's rage. A dragon surrounded him, while the demons jumped back with fear. That dragon was so massive, it could literally eat them whole. The dragon did not attack, and soon they found out why. The dragon wasn't even real; it was his illusion. Does this mean that he had defeated dragons before?! Did he absorb its powers? The demons tried to remain calm until the armored man with a halberd turned away from them. The demons followed, but the armored man with a halberd warned them that they might not survive. The demons argued back but the armored man with a halberd sighed. He couldn't believe the stupidity of these demons. So strong yet so dumb.
The demons took a seat on the floor, and the Ancient stood above them. Before we get to the real world, there is no guarantee where we will land.
"We want to know more about you and Xion." one of the demons asked.
"Xion is a powerful demon who I spared with. Nothing more than that. If you want to know how powerful he is, I guess you can say we were evenly matched, but I won every time. If Xion were to ever beat me, he would break out of the seal."
"You think Xion can break out of his seal for real?" another demon asked.
"Xion is a powerful demon, and there is no doubt in my mind that he will break out of his seal, especially now that Mehatto is there instead of me." the Ancient responded.
Mehatto and Xion look at each other. Their weapons and soul sealed away.
"Let me be free!" Xion said.
"And what will happen to me if I let that happen?" Mehatto asked.
"I'm sure nothing bad will happen." Xion lied.
Mehatto tried to attack Xion, but none of his attacks connect. No effect at all.
"How about you all tell me about what happened to the demons?" The Ancient asked.
Ikke looked to his friends. Ikke then talks about how they got caught in a trap. After that they were lost and had to find each other in this world filled with smoke. This place was not the afterlife, so what was this place? The Ancient walked around and the smoke started to clear.
"I know exactly what this place is." he stated with confidence.
