I sat in the circle too. That part mattered.
It was quiet for the first minute in the way that things are quiet when everyone is waiting for someone else to start. I let it sit for a second and then I just said: "I know some of you have questions you haven't been able to ask. I figured this was easier than everyone wondering separately."
That opened it.
Someone asked how I'd ended up in Dark Fangs. I gave them the real answer, Gregory's pack, what it was like there, the bond hitting and the fact that I hadn't exactly had a welcome committee waiting. I watched a few people exchange looks at the part about Gregory. Not surprised looks. More like the kind of look that means they'd heard things before now.
"Is it true you grew up without knowing about the Vibrius bloodline?" This from a girl near the window, maybe nineteen.
"Mostly, yeah. I knew something was different but I didn't have the full picture. Still filling in pieces honestly."
