Alex stood up immediately, his expression shifting as he stared deep into Trevor's eyes.
"Are you threatening me?" he asked in a light, mocking tone.
He took a slow step away from Miss Silvia, putting a bit of distance between them for the moment.
Trevor did not say a word, but he didn't lower his guard either. He stood his ground, his muscles tense.
"Do you realize I could kill you right here and now without anyone ever finding out?" Alex said calmly. Almost instantly, a bright white light encircled his body.
Trevor understood what was happening; Alex had partially activated his essence just to intimidate him.
Despite the display of power, Trevor did not move an inch. He remained perfectly still.
He knew Alex was the combat teacher. His fighting experience and techniques were far superior; challenging him was practically a death sentence.
But Trevor also knew he could use his words as a weapon.
"Go ahead then," Trevor replied, his voice steady.
