Chapter 527 - Chapter 264 Demon Realm (Part 1)

Demon Realm.

Talot and Future Vegeta were currently in a concealed area.

The two suppressed their auras and hid in the shadows, avoiding being discovered by the demons of the Demon Realm.

It had to be said, coming to the Demon Realm gave Talot a completely different feeling from what he had imagined.

Although they had already been here for some time, they were still affected from time to time.

If his mental state were not strong enough, he might have already been demonized.

Living in such a world for years. Who could withstand not being eroded by dark power?

This world, at a glance, was filled with a horrifying blood-red glow that covered the land, making the entire world appear extremely gloomy and oppressive.

Compared to the main world, these were two completely different extremes; the environment could no longer be described as merely harsh.

It was practically a demonic lair, more like hell than hell itself.

And according to what Future Vegeta said, this was only a small part of the vast Demon Realm.

At first, Talot wondered just how big it could be, but after sensing it, he realized he had truly been like a frog in a well.

This world was unimaginably vast; even when Talot exerted himself to the limit to expand his divine sense, he still couldn't completely cover it.

"The deeper we go toward the central region, the more demon warriors there will be. We must avoid being discovered as much as possible. Otherwise, before we even find Bardock, we might be discovered and driven out," Future Vegeta said cautiously to Talot.

Along the way, this had been their approach, which made their progress extremely slow.

If he hadn't experienced it personally, he would have doubted whether this was still the Vegeta he knew.

Being cautious was a good thing, but being cautious to the point of fear made him feel unfamiliar.

"With our strength, even if we can't run rampant, if we act together, we shouldn't have to worry about being driven out, right? From what I can sense, the demons in this area don't seem particularly strong," Talot finally couldn't help but ask.

Talot didn't know the true depth of the Demon Realm, after all, this was his first time here and his first contact with it.

"You're thinking too simply. Back then, I had the same thoughts as you. This world isn't our home ground. Not only will our power be suppressed, but it will also continuously drain when we engage in battle… Indeed, with our strength, we could sweep through all the demons in this part of the Demon Realm. But there are some extremely troublesome individuals. Once any disturbance happens here, those guys will use abilities like Instant Transmission to cross over," Future Vegeta said.

"I see. Those troublesome individuals… are they the high and mighty Demon Gods?" Talot asked.

Seeing Future Vegeta nod, Talot said nothing further.

After all, the other party was far more familiar with this place. If he acted recklessly, it could very likely lead to serious trouble.

For now, the top priority was to find Bardock and rescue him.

"Let's finish searching this area first, then we'll split up. That way, our efficiency will be much higher," Future Vegeta suggested.

"Alright, we'll do as you say. But after we split up, how will we stay in contact? You probably can't use Instant Transmission, right? If you run into danger, just release your aura, I can cross space to find you," Talot said with a slight smile, teasing Future Vegeta.

"Hmph~! You should worry about yourself first. Don't get yourself killed halfway. If that happens, even if I want to save you, it'll be too late," Future Vegeta didn't take Talot's teasing seriously, only showing his usual coldness.

After that, the two exchanged a few more words and continued their actions.

Only after thoroughly searching this area did they give each other a few final reminders before beginning their separate operations.

In the blink of an eye, although there was no fixed concept of time in the Demon Realm, the flow of time could still be felt; several days had already passed.

Talot and Future Vegeta acted separately. Both of them possessed extremely high-level aura concealment abilities. After lurking in the Demon Realm for many days, they had not been discovered by the demons.

No… it would be more accurate to say that those who discovered them were already dead.

No matter how extraordinary their aura concealment abilities were, they would occasionally be noticed by some patrolling Demon Realm warriors who caught slight traces. However, because these demon warriors were weak—only a few hundred to just over a few thousand in power—they would be silently eliminated the moment they discovered anything.

After searching for many days, the two, who had been acting separately, met once again.

They arrived at the same area. Looking ahead, there stood a massive, eerie castle. Under the illumination of the blood-red moonlight, it sent chills down one's spine.

"It seems we've arrived at quite an extraordinary place," Future Vegeta stared at the enormous blood-moon castle before him and muttered.

Talot, standing beside him, remained silent, only quietly expanding his divine sense.

As if they shared a tacit understanding, within that blood-moon castle, his divine sense detected a power that felt both familiar and unfamiliar.

Judging by probability, that source of power was almost certainly Bardock.

And within that blood-moon castle, there were also several powerful auras.

One of them, in particular, was extremely strange.

"It seems we've found the right place. The guidance mark Whis gave me has also responded. I still can't completely lock onto the exact location, but I can be sure he's inside," Talot said.

"Hm? You can sense what's inside?" Future Vegeta was immediately astonished upon hearing this.

Talot's perception had actually reached such a level.

Even with his Ki Sense, he couldn't clearly perceive it.

This was also due to the special nature of the Demon Realm, which blocked Ki Sense.

"Inside this castle, there are several dark and sinister auras. One of them is very similar to Uncle Bardock. The remaining auras feel extremely strange—like the dead, yet not dead," Talot replied.

"It seems we've inadvertently arrived at the lair of some unknown demon leader. Our next move will need careful planning…" Future Vegeta said seriously after hearing Talot's words.

"Mm." Talot nodded.
