"I understand, I'll make sure to tell you right away!"
Bai Zhi agreed readily, finally showing a relaxed smile, and eagerly saw Qin Yiren off as she boarded the plane.
The next two hours.
Qin Yiren turned off airplane mode on her phone, casually playing a little game of Candy Crush.
Although she received Bai Zhi's promise, Qin Yiren didn't expect any real news, it would just be about how Gu Jin'er was again showing off her romance with Bo Jinghang, likely using mutual friends to pass the message to her.
She lifted a platinum necklace from beneath her clothes, its pendant a sparkling diamond ring, precisely the one Bo Jinghang had carefully chosen to match her taste and given her in a haunted house.
Clutching the ring in her palm, Qin Yiren gently smiled, suddenly feeling confident enough to ignore Gu Jin'er's various provocations.
Two hours later, the plane slowly landed in Jianghai.
