Chapter 181 - The Trap Turns Around

The moment people started getting provoked by Deepak's words, both Indrajit and Sanaya grew nervous because they immediately understood that Deepak had finally begun playing dirty. He already knew he had lost against Om, but accepting the victory of the Joshi family was something his ego simply couldn't handle. So, with one twisted move after another, he dragged Om into the spotlight and slowly began framing the entire Joshi family, making them look like schemers in front of everyone. And the worst part… his plan was actually working. People had already started cursing the Joshis openly.

But then suddenly…

Clap… clap… clap…

The sound of someone clapping echoed through the market.

Everyone turned in confusion toward the man walking forward while applauding.

It was Om.

Dressed in a sharp purple suit, Om slowly walked toward Deepak with a calm smile on his face, clapping as if he had just witnessed the performance of a lifetime.

Then, stopping right in front of him, Om smiled wider and said,

"What a performance, Mr. Deepak… seriously, outstanding! Looking at you reminds me of a saying — the thief himself accusing the guard. I have to admit, the way you twisted the entire story… brilliant. Truly brilliant. I salute you."

Deepak's face darkened instantly. Grinding his teeth, he snapped,

"What nonsense are you even talking about? What exactly are you trying to say?"

But Om only smiled more casually.

"Wow… amazing, sir. Even after doing all this, you're still acting innocent? I've become your fan now… a big fan. First you lost the bet, then you framed the Joshi family. You knew nothing about Zed, so you declared it fake. Honestly… why aren't you an actor? Trust me, nobody could play a villain better than you. You'd set the screen on fire."

The moment Om finished, laughter broke out all around the market.

People who had been blindly supporting Deepak moments ago were now laughing at him openly.

Deepak's anger shot through the roof, but before he could say anything, Om attacked again with another calm smile.

"You know… I actually do know who the real schemer here is. A famous researcher, Mr. Deepak Dholera… the man who just discovered a so-called rare Red Zed. Funny thing is… the public doesn't know that Mr. Deepak already knew everything about that Zed beforehand."

The moment those words left Om's mouth, chaos spread through the crowd.

People gasped loudly.

This wasn't a small accusation anymore.

This was serious.

Deepak himself froze for a second before roaring furiously,

"Watch your mouth, boy! What garbage are you speaking?"

Om didn't react to the shouting at all. Calmly looking at everyone around him, he continued,

"Not just that… every single person present on that competition platform was involved with Mr. Deepak. The man guarding the stones, the man cutting them, even the man checking the Zed value… all of them were working together with him."

The crowd fell silent.

"And together," Om continued coldly, "they cleverly cut an already prepared stone and pulled out a fake Red Zed from inside it. But the shocking part is…"

Om paused.

Every eye in the market locked onto him.

"…that Red Zed isn't real at all."

The entire market exploded into chaos.

Even Deepak himself looked shaken now.

His eyes widened in panic.

The men involved in the scam instantly turned pale. Even the VIP guests standing nearby looked stunned after hearing such a massive accusation.

Finally, Indrajit spoke in a serious voice,

"Mr. Om… do you understand the gravity of what you're saying? If this is true, then this is one of the filthiest crimes in the Zed industry. Mr. Deepak would lose everything — his job, his reputation, his career… his entire life. I cannot believe such claims without proof. So tell me… do you actually have evidence?"

Om answered confidently,

"Not one. Three."

The confidence in his voice sent another wave of tension through the crowd.

"First," Om said, "touch both sides of the black stone Mr. Deepak cut. You'll find traces of a sticky liquid there… the same liquid he used to glue the stone together."

People immediately started whispering among themselves.

Om continued,

"Second… under the cutting machine table, you'll find another stone. The real stone Mr. Deepak originally selected. No Zed cutter keeps stones hidden under the table… but you'll definitely find it there."

Deepak's face had completely lost color now.

"And third…" Om's voice turned sharper, "the Red Zed discovered by Mr. Deepak isn't actually Red Zed. It's Green Zed painted red using a special solid liquid coating."

The crowd gasped again.

"But there's one special thing about Zed," Om continued calmly. "No matter what you do to it… its real color never changes. Even acid can't erase it. Dip that Zed in acid, and the original Green Zed will come out immediately."

Then Om looked directly into Deepak's eyes and finished,

"So basically… Mr. Deepak is a fraud."

Silence.

Complete silence.

Everyone stood frozen in shock.

Meanwhile, Deepak's entire body trembled with rage. Clenching his fists, he growled,

"You bastard… I'll kill—"

But before he could finish, Om suddenly acted as if he had forgotten something. He snapped his fingers dramatically.

"Oh right… I almost forgot. This evidence only proves Mr. Deepak guilty. But what about the others involved with him? Don't worry, Mr. Deepak…" Om smiled mockingly. "You won't be suffering alone."

Then Om raised his voice.

"Viraj… come out. It's time."

The moment Om called him, Viraj casually walked out from a nearby corner beside the competition area, adjusting his suit confidently while smiling like he had been waiting for this exact moment.

Seeing him, Sanaya looked completely confused.

"Viraj is the important evidence…?"

Om smiled warmly at her.

"Oh no, Miss Sanaya… not Viraj himself. The evidence is with Viraj."

At that exact moment, Viraj handed his phone to Om.

Om immediately opened a video, turned the volume to maximum, and held the phone high for everyone to see.

Then, with a dangerous grin, he announced,

"So everybody… presenting the full movie of this thrilling little robbery."

The entire market fell silent.

Every single person focused on the video.

Then voices began playing from the recording.

"Mr. Deepak sir, everything is arranged. Our men are handling every position. Today, your history-making moment is fully prepared. The man guarding the Zed, the man cutting it, even the man checking its value… everyone is ours. We bought them all. Go ahead and destroy the Joshi family."

Then Deepak's own voice echoed from the phone.

"Start preparing for the party. Tonight we celebrate the downfall of the Joshis. Today the Joshi family will fall straight from the sky into hell… and boom… everything ends."

Loud laughter followed in the recording.

And then…

The video showed everything.

How Deepak selected the stone while the guard secretly signaled which one to pick…

How the cutter exchanged the original stone under the table and pretended to cut another one…

How the examiner declared the Zed rare without even checking it properly…

Every filthy trick.

Every betrayal.

Every lie.

Right there in front of everyone.

And just like that…

Mr. Deepak's disgusting truth was exposed before the entire market.
