Chapter 188 - Fight Of the Lovers

The beautiful half-woman, half-crab creature standing before the world was none other than Jeevanshini.

Her giant claw slowly rose above the little boy's head.

At that very moment, the entire world was watching her.

Every country.

Every leader.

Every army.

Every human being staring at televisions, phones, and giant screens across the globe.

For centuries, the other races had hidden themselves from humanity, believing it was safer to stay away from humans entirely. Demons themselves remained trapped in Pataal because of ancient bindings… but there were still some powerful demons whom neither gods nor demigods could truly control.

And today…

one of them had appeared before mankind.

People across the world sat frozen in shock, unable to take their eyes off the terrifying creature standing in Japan.

Then suddenly—

the Japanese army began advancing toward her.

Heavy vehicles surrounded the area, and within seconds, one of the tanks locked onto Jeevanshini and launched a missile straight at her.

Everyone watching held their breath.

The missile sped through the air at full force and slammed directly toward her—

But the moment it touched her body…

…it vanished.

Completely.

And before anyone could even process what had happened—

the same missile suddenly reappeared right beside the tank that fired it.

BOOM!

The tank exploded instantly.

Screams erupted everywhere.

Soldiers panicked.

Even people watching live on television felt their blood run cold.

But the horror was only beginning.

Jeevanshini slowly stretched her hand toward the Japanese army and smiled sweetly.

"Kill them."

The moment those words left her mouth, the crab-like lower half of her body began breaking apart into thousands…

…then millions…

…of tiny crawling insects.

Like a black flood, they rushed across the ground toward the army.

At the same time, as the crab body disappeared, her real human legs became visible underneath.

Within moments, the endless swarm covered every machine, every soldier, every weapon in sight.

The insects crawled into tanks.

Into helmets.

Into human flesh.

And then—

they began eating.

For the next ten horrifying minutes, the entire world watched the Japanese army get completely wiped out.

Not defeated.

Erased.

The sight was so disgusting and terrifying that people everywhere fell into stunned silence. One of the most technologically advanced armies in the world had been destroyed within minutes…

…by a single woman.

And that thought terrified humanity even more.

If one creature could do this…

…what would happen if there were more like her?

People around the world felt fear settle deep into their souls.

Meanwhile, Om was watching the horrifying broadcast from home with his family.

The moment he saw what was happening, he immediately stood up and started walking away.

But before he could leave, Sharda Chachi grabbed his arm and pulled him back forcefully.

"I don't want to hear a single word," she snapped. "You are staying right here! No arguments, no discussion. Sit down quietly on the sofa!"

Before Om could explain anything, she dragged him back and made him sit down.

In the end, Om gave up and remained seated silently.

Meanwhile, back in Japan, Jeevanshini turned her attention toward her next target—

the little boy who had slapped her.

The swarm of insects slowly crawled back across the ground and merged into her body once again, reforming the giant crab-like lower half beneath her waist.

Then she slowly lifted one massive claw toward the child.

Laughing loudly, she prepared to slice him in half just like the others—

But suddenly—

BOOM!

A powerful punch slammed directly into her face.

The impact was so strong that Jeevanshini's body skidded violently across the ground.

Groaning in pain, she slowly stood back up while everyone turned toward the place where the attack had come from.

Dust swirled through the air like a storm.

And when the dust finally cleared—

an old man wearing a purple sage-like robe stood there, staring at Jeevanshini with burning anger in his eyes.

It was Dhoomketu.

The moment Jeevanshini saw him, her anger suddenly disappeared.

Instead—

she burst into laughter.

"How are you, my dear old man?" she mocked loudly. "Looks like your age keeps increasing… but your strength is still the same! Hahahahaha!"

Dhoomketu clenched his teeth in rage.

"What are you doing here?" he growled.

Jeevanshini smiled.

"Simple, my love. I came here to kill that child from the prophecy. And if you stand in my way…"

Her smile darkened.

"…then you'll die too."

Hearing that, Dhoomketu looked genuinely shocked.

"But you promised," he said angrily. "You swore you would never step onto Earth again. You promised me!"

The moment he said that, Jeevanshini exploded with fury.

"That promise wasn't for YOU!" she screamed. "It was for the Dhoomketu I once loved! That love is the only reason I spared your life thirty years ago!"

Her eyes burned with madness.

"I gave you life… but my love died long ago. And now I, Jeevanshini, am bound by nothing!"

Then she laughed coldly.

"Foolish human… I am a demoness. I make promises, but I don't keep them. And you…"

Her voice turned poisonous.

"You abandoned me for that ordinary woman and made her your wife. Why should I honor any promise made for you?"

The moment those words landed—

Dhoomketu's face turned red with rage.

He knew exactly how dangerous Jeevanshini was. She may not have been among the highest-ranking demons, but her powers were still terrifying enough to destroy entire armies.

Which meant there was only one option left.

Fight.

Dhoomketu immediately took his stance and said firmly—

"Not while I'm alive."

Jeevanshini laughed loudly at his words.

Four giant claws suddenly burst out from her body as she grinned wickedly.

"I know," she whispered. "But today… you won't survive."

And with that—

both of them charged at each other.

The battle exploded instantly.

The entire world watched in disbelief as an old man fought a monstrous creature in the middle of Japan like something straight out of myth.

Sometimes Jeevanshini overpowered Dhoomketu with her claws.

Other times, Dhoomketu crushed her attacks using pure force.

But one thing quickly became clear—

Dhoomketu was stronger.

A deep purple energy flowed from his body as he fought. He used that mysterious inner power to fly through the air, strike from a distance, and unleash massive explosions of energy with terrifying precision.

Every movement proved one thing.

He was a legendary warrior.

Meanwhile, to counter Jeevanshini's four claws and both arms, Dhoomketu created two extra glowing purple arms made entirely of energy, allowing him to block and attack at impossible speed.

On one side, a supernatural war raged before the world.

And on the other…

humanity struggled to even understand what they were witnessing.

People couldn't tell anymore whether they were watching reality…

…or some impossible superhero film come to life.

Meanwhile, inside Om's house, everyone stared at the television in shock as they watched Dhoomketu battle the monster.

Vijay and Manoj had already recognized him.

Both of them shouted in disbelief almost at the same time.

"Baba… but… this… this…"

Watching his grandfather fight on screen, Om finally spoke in a calm but serious voice.

"This is inner energy," he said quietly. "A kind of extraordinary power… possessed by extraordinary humans."

Om couldn't take his eyes off Dhoomketu.

And now…

everything finally made sense.

All the strange changes in his life.

All the mysteries.

There had always been a bigger reason behind them.

Meanwhile, after hearing Om's words, Vijay, Sharda, and Manoj all turned toward him in complete shock.

Then Vijay asked nervously,

"But… how do YOU know all this, Om?"

Om slowly looked toward his uncle.

His expression turned serious.

Angry.

Then, right in front of everyone—

he raised his hand into the air.

And a glowing golden sphere suddenly formed above his palm.

The entire room froze.

"Because…" Om said coldly, staring at the golden energy floating above his hand,

"…I'm just like him."
