"You should be careful with that word," Leo murmured.
Bella blinked.
"Why?"
"Because you hardly ever call me hubby."
He gently rested his chin against the top of her head, his voice becoming suspiciously amused.
"You only remember that particular name when you want something from me."
Bella tried very hard to keep a straight face but the corners of her lips betrayed her.
"That's exactly why it's rare," she admitted, giggling.
Leo stared at her for a second.
Then he rolled his eyes.
"Unbelievable."
Bella hugged him even tighter, clearly pleased with herself.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Oh, you know exactly what you're doing."
He lightly pinched her cheek.
"I know all your tactics, wifey."
Bella immediately looked up at him with an innocent expression.
"My tactics?"
"Yes."
"What tactics?"
Leo raised one eyebrow.
"The sweet voice. The innocent face. The sudden 'hubby' whenever you want something."
Bella's lips twitched.
"I don't do that."
"You do."
