As the days passed, Bella began noticing something that slowly started bothering her more than she wanted to admit.
Since becoming pregnant, Leo was still affectionate with her.
He still kissed her whenever he came home, still pulled her into his arms when she was sleepy, still brushed her hair away from her face and pressed soft kisses against her forehead and sometimes their kisses even became passionate enough to leave her cheeks burning.
Yet there was one thing that had changed and Bella could not stop noticing it. Leo never allowed things to go any further anymore.
At first, Bella had told herself that he was simply being careful because she was pregnant. She understood that. At least, she thought she did. But after several weeks that explanation slowly became tangled with another, much more painful thought.
Perhaps he didn't desire her anymore.
Perhaps he looked at her differently now.
Perhaps her pregnancy had made her less beautiful in his eyes.
