"You're literally shaking!" Bella said with difficulty.
"I'm not shaking." jace quickly.
"You are!"
"I'm calling everyone, that's all!"
Bella stared at him in disbelief while he hurriedly explained the situation over the phone.
"Her water broke. Yes, just now. She's awake and responsive but she's feeling strange sensations... Yes, we're at home... Yes, the medical team is already on-site."
His voice became more serious as he listened to the instructions.
"Okay. Understood."
He ended the call and immediately contacted the other members of Bella's medical team.
Fortunately, they were at home, exactly where everyone wanted Bella to be at this stage of her pregnancy. The entire house had been prepared carefully for her safety, with medical support available around the clock. Everything Bella might need had already been arranged, so there was no reason to risk rushing her somewhere unfamiliar while the medical team could monitor her right there.
