'I feel nothing at all... Why? I clearly remember feeling things just now. Wait, where am I? There's a plague sweeping through this area. I can sow some panic in between these peasants and make life interesting.' I think to myself as I walk to a dock area from the castle. I don't know who I am, nor do I know where I am, I just want to see these people panic. It would be so much better than watching them live out their boring lives. I see a few people in the area and start spreading the rumor that sick people will have green faces. I walk further and spray a sick person with green liquid from a bottle I brought with me.
"See this person right here? They are sick! All people who has green discoloration in their faces, are sick! Stay clear! The plague is spreading! It is deadly, clear the way! Do not get infected or you will die!" I laugh to myself as I sow the seed of panic. Everyone runs away and screams.
As I walk to the docks, I keep spraying more and more people with this green liquid. I watch as everyone turns their backs on one another. I reach the dock and see a small rowboat coming in from the sea. I see a woman and a small child in the boat. The woman is young.
I see a flash of memories in my head. It's not my memories. It shows the mother and child dying if I don't step up. She was a beautiful woman, but I was disgusted by her nonetheless. 'Ew. These disgusting pigs. I just want to kill them now! But they might be really fun toys for me. They may be the survivors from the shipwreck. I can't let anyone see them yet. Otherwise I won't be able to make use of them. Let's see how far this mother would go for her child.' I think to myself as I see them drifting in. I take them from the rowboat in secret.
In the middle of a large clearing between mountains lays a barren land. Barely any grass, mostly desert and not a single tree in sight. In the middle of this area is a Temple. Inside the Temple I sit and wait. I keep having flashbacks of the woman I saved using very advanced movement techniques that made her really fast. She could jump really high, and run really fast. I saw her training in techniques that allowed her to flatten entire mountains. She could even move them. I saw her training with the King, and creating the current area they are residing in.
"If you want your kid, listen to me. Follow my commands exactly and do not stray. Do not think of betrayal. Protect me, and carry out my will and I can guarantee the safety of your child."
On her knees she is bowing, looking at the floor and with utmost respect: "As you wish, Master."
"Go outside, there is a man there. He is not of this Temple. Kill him for me, then come right back."
She vanishes from my sight. She sees a man at the entrance of the temple. Using a rapier, she slices a hole in his neck. He falls to the ground. 'A beggar. Why would he have me kill a poor beggar?' As she walks back she calls for help from everyone. Every knight, but none of them react at all. She goes back to my office and sees me laughing. A knight that hates me saw the body at the entrance when returning from a mission. He walks straight to the office.
"Why are you laughing?" She asks, trembling slightly with fear.
"ONLY I CAN SEE YOU! BAHAHA. You thought I'd just let you talk to whoever you want? I can't trust you. So I made it so only I can see you. OH and the target. They too can see you as they die. They can't hear you either, so cry out for help. Cry out until your voice is gone NO ONE WILL HELP YOU!" 'You belong to me fully. You are entirely at my mercy now. Your life, is whatever I want it to be.' I think to myself, feeling filled with pride.
The knight walks in, "YOU!" He lifts his blade and swings it with the intent to kill me. I block it right in front of her, as she too blocks it. "Why do you swing your blade at me, an innocent man?" I say a little mockingly.
He smiles," I know you did it. The puncture wound is as small and precise as the rapier you wield." he lowers his blade, and has it ready for the next exchange of blows.
"HAHAHA. Maids, come in here at once!" I say with slight excitement in my voice. "Where have I been the entire time?" All of them answer together saying I have been in the office the entire day. Since this morning, I had been sitting in that chair. "Hear that? I couldn't have done it. I was in here the entire day." He walks out and I turn towards the woman. I gesture the maids to leave.
"So then. Let's have a talk...Princess." I smile as her eyes widen in shock, realizing I knew all this time, and still did this to her.
Suddenly, I am at a primary school. I see her in front of me dressed in casual clothing:" I am the Queen, but I am in danger. I cannot return to the castle at this time. Please help me." She says. I told her to follow me. We go to a mountainous area. "Flatten this plane, and make walls of the mountains all around." She follows my command and I watch her do it. The next day she brings me an energy drink. The day after, again. Each day she gives me an energy drink and leaves right after.
After a few days, the plane was flat, and she started giving me 3.5L of water. I got tired of the water after a week and stopped her on the first day of the next week. "Stop giving me water please. I can't even drink it, so I've been giving it to your child. Even she complains about it. I hope it wasn't poisoned or anything."
Her eyes stretch wide and she runs to my house. I start laughing at the situation. It is really amusing. I fed the kid the last bottle of water as she lays in my arms, unable to move. "Paralyzing poison sure is a nasty one." My friend touches my shoulder, I see that I am once again at the school. "Come Lloyd. Let's go buy some energy drinks." We shake hands, and I laughs as he shakes his hand in disgust. Both our hands were sticky.
I wake up, confused. 'What the hell? What did i just dream? I should go type out this one too. Some meaning to this madness. Why the hell couldn't i feel anything? Where was my remorse? It's fine, I'm not going to think about it now.'
After some time passes, I close my computer again, and watch the sun come up. "Sunrises are sometimes quite beautiful." i say, looking at my phone while hearing the birds chirp, watching reels because i do not watch sunrises, ever.
