The warm wind howled gently through the towering trees as Luffy stepped out of the forest.
The moon, now hanging high above him, bathed the open field in a cool silvery hue, casting long shadows behind him. The sky was clear, filled with sparkling stars, yet beneath its beauty, Luffy's mind was far from calm.
His marine cap tilted slightly back, revealing his sharp, thunder-lit eyes.
"Hmm... now then..." He muttered, rubbing his chin with an amused grin, "How should I feed my ladies and little Tama tonight?"
He raised his hand lazily, and a flicker of lightning buzzed across his fingertips, casting an eerie glow over his amused face.
Two ideas immediately popped into his mind.
Option one: He could use the System's shop and summon a lavish feast at zero cost.
It was simple and clean, but pretty much boring.
Option two: He could head to the Flower Capital, steal the food meant for Orochi and the elite, and serve it to the villagers in open defiance.
He licked his lips. as he just remembered something even better.
"The Paradise Farm..." He murmured, his smirk widening. "That's where they hoard all the food like pigs... right in Kuri."
The idea bloomed beautifully in his mind.
A direct strike against Orochi's most valuable asset. Not only would it bring food, but it would send a message that Kaido's so-called 'order' was crumbling.
Suddenly, his eyes sharpened. A deadly, icy glint flickered across his pupils, and a crimson flash of killing intent danced in the air.
Pop... pop... pop...
"Yeah..." He cracked his knuckles with loud sounds, electricity starting to hum across his body. "It's been a while since I had some fun."
CRACK!
KOOOOM!!!
A brilliant bolt of Goro Goro no Mi lightning exploded around him with a deafening sound, splitting the air.
And, in an instant, he was gone.
------
Kuri Region
The night was still in Kuri. A gentle breeze whispered over the fields.
The Large wooden gates stood at the base of a mountain, overlooking the pristine and artificially maintained farmland beyond.
Inside, artificial rivers shimmered under torchlight. The cherry blossoms tress fluttered through the air as livestock grazed peacefully on the green pastures.
The golden rice swayed, fruit trees were heavy with offerings, and seafood pools bubbled quietly with large tuna, salmon, and sea bass.
The guards were relaxed, standing lazily along the gateposts.
"Oi, oi, oi..." One of the guards yawned, leaning on his spear. "What a drag. Ain't no one gonna come raid us. This place's more protected than Orochi-sama's own treasury."
Another snorted, cracking open a bottle of sake. "Yeah. All we gotta do is chill and keep the pigs fed. Who the hell's dumb enough to attack this place?"
"Hmph, Kaido-sama would kill us if we screwed up guarding the food," A third muttered. "So, you better keep your guard up!"
As they chuckled and lazily passed around drinks, a terrifying voice echoed above them, making their laughter froze.
"THUNDER DRAGON STRIKE."
KRRAAAAKK!
KOOOOOOOM!!!
A colossal thunderbolt screamed from the heavens and struck the center of the gate with a bone-shattering explosion. A shockwave tore through the ground, sending the guards flying like dolls, some smashing into walls, others incinerated on the spot.
Smoke billowed and a gust of wind swept through the scorched path.
And from within the cloud of ash and lightning, Luffy stepped out. His marine coat flapped like a cape, his body crackling with divine thunder, his expression sharp and filled with lethal intent.
The remaining guards staggered back in horror.
"Wh... Who the hell are—?"
BOOM!
Another flash of lightning exploded at Luffy's feet as he vanished again, only to reappear in front of one of the guards. His fist, wrapped in lightning and Armament Haki, slammed into the man's chest with terrifying force.
CRACK!
KOOOM!
The man's body folded inward like paper, launched across the field and smashing into a stone pillar, shattering it into debris.
The other guards screamed and ran, yelling for backup.
But Luffy didn't stop.
ZZZZZAAAAAA...
BOOM!
He darted from target to target, each strike echoing with the fury of a storm.
"Y-You're insane! Y-You can't do this!" One shouted before Luffy's hand gripped his face and slammed him into the dirt.
"You don't deserve to speak," Luffy growled, eyes glowing with white electricity. "You pigs hoard food while children starve."
Once the gates were cleared, Luffy slowly stepped inside the heart of the farm.
The shift was almost spiritual.
Gone was the scorched battlefield... Before him lay a breathtaking paradise with lush grass fields under sakura blossoms, glimmering waterfalls that sparkled in the moonlight, clean rivers where colorful fish darted, and pens full of high-quality cattle, goats, and birds.
Orchards hung heavy with fruit. Crops extended in every direction, and smoke from kitchens suggested meals once prepared for Orochi's nobles.
It was truly heaven, a glutton's paradise built on starvation and control.
Luffy took a deep breath, eyes scanning the land, then slowly raised his head.
"...And you bastards kept this hidden while the people ate dirt and drank mud?"
His body buzzed with rage.
With a growl, he closed his eyes and extended his Observation Haki across the farm.
One by one, he sensed the presence of the people still working alongside the guards.
Fifty-two people still remaining...
Some of them were hidden in towers while some were lurking in barracks.
A devilish grin curled on his face.
"Guess I'll sweep the floor real quick."
And with that, the storm resumed.
...
Inside the farm, terrified guards rushed to respond. Some were armed with rifles, some with swords, others with low-level Zoan powers.
"Alert! Intruder in the fields! It's a Marine!!"
"Marine?! There are no Marines in Wano!"
"I-It's not just any Marine... it's Divine Fist Luffy!"
"H-He's supposed to be just a kid!"
A panicked silence fell.
Then the sound of thunder answered.
KRRAAAK!
BOOM!!
A lightning bolt tore through the central tower, splitting it in half.
Luffy appeared in mid-air, descending like a storm god, surrounded by a dragon of thunder.
"Raijin Spear!"
He thrust forward with his hand, condensing his lightning into a divine lance that pierced the building's foundation and electrocuted every single person inside.
The screams echoed before silence swallowed them.
From the kitchen, terrified chefs peeked out.
One dropped a ladle. "W-What is he?!"
Luffy landed softly, walking through the smoldering remnants of the tower, stepping over unconscious men. He ignored the terrified chefs.
"You're cooks... Not killers," He said calmly. "Make meals and don't waste food."
Then he turned and walked into the heart of the farm.
...
Within ten minutes, the entire facility had been subdued.
Luffy stood tall atop the roof of the main granary.
Lightning flickered around him. His coat billowed. Blood from the defeated foes dripped from his knuckles but not a single scratch was on him.
With the calmness of a king, he declared to no one in particular, "This food now belongs to Wano's people."
He summoned his System Inventory and began storing it all.
Suddenly, a soft rustle behind him.
A survivor?
He turned quickly, only to see a terrified young maid trembling in the shadows.
She looked no older than sixteen.
"M-Mercy..." She whimpered, kneeling.
Luffy walked up to her as she flinched. But he gently patted her head and smiled. "It's okay. Go home. No one's going to hurt you anymore."
He walked away without looking back as the maid broke into tears.
