Danyang Immortal and the Patriarch of the Constellation intended to join forces to kill Wang Xiaoqiang in revenge for Cloud Heaven Immortal, but they unexpectedly faced suspicion from the Four Great Protectors, who have now ordered them to be taken away to see the Ancient Divine Emperor.
The forces on the Ancient Continent are organized by sects, seemingly less rigorous than a monarchy and not overly strict, yet with clear distinctions in hierarchy.
Sects across the world are divided into ten levels, ranging from a First Level Sect to a Tenth Level Sect, and above these is the Ancient Divine Emperor who oversees all sects with absolute command and authority.
All sect leaders must heed the mandates of the Ancient Divine Emperor, who also wields the power of justice, typically executed personally by the Four Great Protectors by his side.
