Just as everyone strained to hear Wang Tao reveal the mastermind's identity, he suddenly shot to his feet. He rushed to the window, threw it open, and jumped straight out.
Seeing the man escape, the assistant was the first to give chase. Without a second thought, he leaped out of the window right after him.

He leaped from the fifth floor to the fourth, then from the fourth to the third, and finally descended to the ground floor from there. The straightforward assistant, on the other hand, jumped directly from the fifth floor to the first.
