When it was time to get off work, Lin Kuang drove Liu Shilin and Lin Guo'er home. In the car, Lin Guo'er kept asking sensitive questions that made Liu Shilin's pretty face turn crimson. She glared fiercely at Lin Guo'er several times, but Guo'er just giggled, paying it no mind. In the end, Lin Kuang had to step in and rescue Liu Shilin, who looked as if she might die of embarrassment.
Once they were home, Lin Guo'er went straight upstairs to get ready. She was meeting old classmates, after all, and a woman had to dress up for the occasion. Liu Shilin, her face still flushed, sat beside Lin Kuang, clearly not having recovered from the teasing.
"Alright, don't be shy. I'll deal with Guo'er for you tonight," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, pulling Liu Shilin into his arms.
"Hmph, I don't believe you. It'll be a miracle if you two don't team up to bully me," Liu Shilin snorted.
"How could that be? I will always protect my dear Shilin," Lin Kuang replied with a grin.
