At that moment, Lin Kuang opened his eyes. Seeing the young man lying on the ground, he couldn't help but smirk. Serves him right. Who told him to try and take advantage?
"Mingyue, let's go," he said with a smile to Zhantai Mingyue. Over time, their relationship had grown much more relaxed, and even their way of addressing each other had changed.
"Okay, let's go," Zhantai Mingyue replied, her adorable expression utterly captivating.
Lin Kuang smiled back and was about to lead her away.
Just then, however, the fallen man used a chair to pull himself to his feet. "Stop right there!" he bellowed, his face turning ashen, then purple with rage. "No one is leaving today!"
Hearing his shout, Zhantai Mingyue instinctively stopped.
"Let's go. Just ignore him," Lin Kuang said, taking her by the wrist and pulling her along.
"Oh," Zhantai Mingyue agreed softly, letting him lead her away.
