Lin Kuang drove home to find the house empty. Liu Shilin and the others had all gone to work, and Mu Wan wasn't home either; she had apparently gone with them.
With nothing to do, Lin Kuang thought for a moment before deciding to drive to the Eagle Corporation, the headquarters of the Eagle Sect. He hadn't been there in a long time and wanted to check in. He hadn't informed Zhang Lianmei of his visit, hoping to give her a little surprise. After getting out of his car, Lin Kuang walked straight inside. The Eagle Sect members serving as security guards naturally recognized him and wouldn't dare to stop him, so they let him pass immediately. He took the elevator all the way to the top floor, where more Eagle Sect members stood guard at the landing. Upon seeing Lin Kuang, they all bowed deeply. Before they could speak, he simply smiled and waved them off as he approached Zhang Lianmei's office door.
