"My dear granddaughter, come, sit by Grandpa," Qin Fugui beckoned Qin Qing affectionately. Then, he said to her cousin, Qin Junyi, "Junyi, go out and have a smoke with Lu Zewei."
Qin Junyi was momentarily stunned but quickly understood the old man's intention. He was being told to go out and stall Lu Zewei, buying the Qin family time to persuade Qin Qing.
Seeing Qin Junyi run out, Qin Qing asked, "Who is Lu Zewei?"
"I'll tell you in a bit." Qin Fugui signaled for Qin Qing to be quiet for now. He then turned to Chloe, who was following closely behind her, and said, "You, go out too."
Chloe paid no attention to Qin Fugui.
"I told you to go out, didn't you hear me?" Qin Fugui scolded. He despised this foreign woman. Earlier at noon, Chloe had suddenly gone berserk, smashing everyone's wine glasses before dragging Qin Qing away. They still hadn't even settled the lunch bill.
Chloe stood behind Qin Qing, her head lowered in silence.
