Ye Xiu removed the hoods from the five people: three women and two men.
Of the three women, one was middle-aged, while Jiang Linglong and the other girl were both around twenty. The two men were in their early to mid-twenties.
"Was it you who saved us last night?" Jiang Linglong asked.
"You could say that," Ye Xiu nodded.
The five of them were overcome with gratitude. The middle-aged woman asked, "You have a close relationship with the Long Family, so why did you save us?"
"Auntie, before you ask someone questions, shouldn't you introduce yourself first?" Ye Xiu said with a smile.
"I'm sorry!" the middle-aged woman said apologetically. "My name is Jiang Xue, the granddaughter of Jiang Yuan, the leader of Medicine King Valley's reformist faction. As for these four, you know Linglong. The others are her older brother, Jiang Hao, and my own son and daughter, Jiang Hong and Jiang Miaomiao."
