Chapter 84 Elder Chanakya
Karn stepped forward, bowing gracefully and said "Greetings, Elder Chanakya. To what do I owe the honor of the Imperial Court's presence?"
"The stars are shifting, young dragon," Chanakya said cryptically, his eyes flashing with a hidden meaning. "The time for academy tournaments and safe spars has passed. His Majesty, Raja Chandragupta Maurya, has summoned you to the Imperial Palace in Ayodhya. Your presence is required immediately."
A collective gasp swept through the thousands of students. A direct summons from the Emperor was an honor usually reserved for the heads of God Families or generals of the army. For a student—even a prodigy like Karn—to be called was unprecedented.
"I am at His Majesty's disposal," Karn replied, his voice steady, projecting an aura of absolute calm that impressed even Bodhidharma.
"Good. Gather what you need. We leave in ten minutes," Chanakya instructed, turning back toward the ramp of the Skyship.
