After a long day of work, Manolo and Isidro find themselves taking their customary nap, as there is no day, only nite in the dark dimension, but a call wakes them up. Isidro answers it. Manolo gets up sleepily.
—Rare Communications, technician Isidro Ricardo Matos Montero reporting in. —Isidro Said.
—Rare Comunicaciones, technician Juan Manuel Antonio De los Santos Restituyo, alias Manolo Restituyo, reporting in. —Manolo Said.
—Sorry to wake you, my technicians, but an extreme emergency has arisen. —Camilion replied.
—What is the emergency to resolve it? —Manolo Answered.
—It's regarding the tomb of Nezorick; our client Angus Ocal Gain, the supreme lord, wants to obtain our services, but his guardians have prevented it, as they are against the supreme lord having those services. —Camilion replied.
—Well, let them control their people, that's not our problem. —Manolo responded.
—But what a handless cookie, Manolo, let me finish. —Camilion Answered.
—It's just that I know where you want to go, and no, control your people. —Manolo replied.
—And a substantial amount of money is involved. —Camilion Answered.
—How much are we talking about? —Manolo replied.
—To install it will be a million dragmarks, but you will get a hundred dragmarks and a commission of fifty dragmarks —Camilion answered.
—How much, how much, along with all the orders we've made, we're going to make a lot of money. —Manolo responded.
—Yes, but what exactly do we have to do? because I didn't understand what Manolo meant. —Isidro replied.
—You must face the floor guardians; here is the information about them. —Camilion answered that he would send them the information by email. They review it, but Manolo sees a familiar face.
—Her! —Manolo exclaimed, who feels an indescribable anger, rage, and thirst for blood.
—Oh, that's not the one who kicked your butt in the sand. —Isidro replied.
—Aldrich Albain, damn bitch, I will repay you a thousandfold for the beating you gave me in the arena; I... I... Me! I will tear you into pieces! —Manolo responded, who is drooling as if he has rabies.
—Where do you know her from, Manolo? —Camilion replied, but Manolo is too angry to respond.
—We met her when we got trapped in the desert with the anti-project faction. —Isidro Answered.
—The anti-project faction, those bastards... Well, Manolo, at least you're going to take it out on someone from the faction. —Camilion replied.
—Yes, that one will be mine, and when I have it in my hands! —Manolo Exclaimed, clenching his fists in anger and added. —When are we leaving?
—Now, this will be your first order; don't take too long, you have orders to fulfill. —Camilion Answered.
—We'll give it a try, because it's a dungeon and overcoming it would take us a lot of time, especially since no one has managed to get through it. —Isidro replied.
—Alright, take as much time as you need, but don't take too long. —Camilion Answered.
—Don't worry, we won't last long, because in record time I'll get through that dungeon to kick Aldrich's whatever's ass; I'm going to stain the entire grave with his black and putrid blood. —Manolo responded.
—That's the attitude, Manolo, well then, I bid you farewell, you can go without mercy, since the dark lord gave us permission, so let's get to work. —Camilion said goodbye.
—You heard it, no mercy, we're finally going all out. —Manolo Answered, who removes the camouflage, starts the vehicle, and sets off toward the grave.
Before arriving, they face several motorized warriors from the anti-project faction, but Manolo defeats them effortlessly. Once they reach the tomb, they see that they have to cross some hanging bridges before arriving.
—So this is Nezorick's tomb, don't tell me we have to cross that hanging bridge to get there. —Manolo Said.
—It seems so, let's gear up well; it will be a long journey to get there. —Isidro Said.
Manolo activates a symbol on the control panel that shows some armor; when he presses it, armor similar to Warhammer 40,000 armor emerges from the sides. They put them on, and they adjust to their physical build.
—And I thought it was going to be tight on me. —Manolo Said, who is impressed by it.
—Let's store the materials in our armor. —Isidro replied.
—And how are we going to carry all this? —Manolo answered while they took out the materials to set up the installation.
—Easy, with magic. —Isidro replied, packing everything to put it in a capsule he keeps in his armor.
—Easy peasy! —Manolo answered. They are armed to the teeth.
—Ready, now let's go kick Aldrich's ass. —Manolo replied.
—That's how it's said. —Isidro said.
They walk across the bridge.
—You know, we can fly. —Isidro Answered.
—Yes, but if they shoot us down, it would be worse, so stay on the ground unless it's necessary. —Manolo replied.
Suddenly, some skeletons in technological armor mounted on skeletal dragons armed to the teeth start shooting at them.
—Run, Isidro. —Manolo replied that they run across the bridge and shoot at the dragons. At one point, the skeletons break the bridge, causing it to collapse. Manolo shoots a grappling hook at a dragon; they ascend thanks to a motor integrated into the launcher. They throw the skeleton toward the precipice; then they begin to fight against the dragon riders until they destroy all but one, but the latter takes revenge by shooting at them before being brought down by them, landing forcefully in the tomb.
—Where is the entrance? — Manolo asked.
—Let me see. —Isidro replied, searching for the information in his database, pointing to the middle grave and added. —It's in that tomb.
At that moment, several skeletons rush out to pounce on them. Isidro and Manolo shoot at them until Isidro charges an explosive spell that obliterates them all. They enter the tomb where a spiral staircase activates, taking them to the next floor.
—We arrived on the first floor, what's the methodology? —Manolo asked.
—Find the guardian and defeat him so he gives us the key to the next floor. —Isidro Answered.
They traverse the floor, defeating vampires, zombies, skeletons, until they reach a room where there is a treasure.
—A treasure. —They both replied together. They shoot at him and it turns out he was a mimic.
—I wasn't born yesterday. —Manolo Said.
—Me neither. —Isidro replied.
They keep wandering the floor until they get lost, leaving marks on the wall to know where they've been until they accidentally enter an empty room.
—Wait. —Isidro Said.
—What's going on, Isidro? It's a trap; if you end up going in, we'll fall into it. —Manolo Said.
They retreat and continue searching to keep defeating enemies until they reach the floor guardian's room.
—Welcome... —Said a vampire with a robotic dress like Shaltear Bloodfallen from Overlord, but Manolo landed a tremendous punch on her head that sent her flying; she got up and added. —Hey, let me introduce myself, please.
—Sorry, but I have so much anger against a certain person that I couldn't help but take it out on you at the first opportunity. —Manolo replied.
—Alright, speak up, this is for today. —Isidro answered.
—My name is Beatrix BloodSpawn, guardian of the first, second, and third floors. So get ready to be destroyed. —Beatrix Said.
—Seriously, we have to see your face two more times. —Manolo Answered.
—Yes, some problem. —Beatrix replied.
—Umm... —Isidro Answered.
—What's up, Isidro? —Manolo replied.
—It's good. —Isidro Answered.
—Wait a moment. —Beatrix replied, who is looking for a Dominican phrasebook, and she is astonished.
—I imagine you knew what I wanted. —Isidro Answered, looking her up and down.
—Pervert, my body belongs to my supreme lord Angus Ocal Gain. —Beatrix replied.
— Oh, please, as if you could get anything out of that bony one; I have it boneless and that one is really enjoyable. —Isidro Answered.
—How dare you insult my supreme lord, charm-less human? —Beatrix replied.
—I have more charm than that bag of bones, and that's why I'm going to show you what's good. Come on, Manolo, let's kick his ass. —Isidro Answered while they shoot at her, but she dodges the shots. She attacks them with her machine-gun umbrella, but they protect themselves with their energy shield; they shoot at each other until she runs out of ammunition and proceeds to turn her umbrella into a sword.
They dodge his sword strikes until they throw a garlic bomb at him. That stuns her.
—That crap isn't going to kill me. —Beatrix Said.
— I know, but it won't protect you from this. —Isidro replied, stealing a kiss and stabbing her heart from the side with a stake.
—You won, you scoundrels, but we'll meet on the next floor, and your technician will pay for stealing a kiss from me. —Beatrix Said as she turned to dust, leaving the key to the next floor behind.
A magical door appears out of nowhere; they place the key in the lock to open it and reach the next floor.
Once on the floor, they began to clear the hallways and rooms of monsters, defeating them; if they got lost, they left trails so they wouldn't get lost until they reached the floor guardian.
—Welcome to the second floor, my dear fighter. —Beatrix Said.
—And me, why don't you mention me, darling? —Isidro asked as she took out her Dominican dictionary.
—Roll hard, tin can, because I'm going to give you a whack for the slap you gave me. —Beatrix Answered.
—That Dominican insult came out well. —Manolo replied.
—Thank you very much. —Beatrix Answered.
—You know I like you, girl, my ki is over 9,000 and now I'll make you mine once again. —Isidro replied.
—Never, now let's see if you're going to kiss me in this form. —Beatrix Answered, who transforms into a horrifying monster that moves at high speeds. They try to evade as much as they can, but she is very fast, but Isidro summons a slime cube that stops her for a few seconds. He enters the slime and kisses her tongue, until Manolo pulls her out and slams her to the floor several times, giving her a brutal beating until she accepts defeat and hands over the key to the next floor.
They open the magical door, where they place the key in the lock and open the door to go to the next floor.
They do the same thing as on the first and second floors until they find Beatrix again.
—Now, what do you have for us? We defeated you in your normal and true form; what do you have for us this time? —Manolo asked.
—This! —Beatrix exclaimed as her dress transformed into a medieval mecha armor, with a minigun combined with a rocket launcher.
—Okay, but that's not something very extreme. —Manolo Responded.
—No, of course not, now die! —Beatrix answered as various spells emerged from the floor, transforming into all kinds of projectiles at once. While she shoots at him, the battlefield turns into a pandemonium. Since there is a lot of noise, they communicate through their intercoms that are integrated into the armor. In addition to silencing the noise.
—This turned into chaos in five seconds. —Manolo Said as they dodge.
—We have to get closer. —Isidro Answered.
—I'll take care of it. —Manolo replied, his eyes shining, and he launches himself kamikaze-style toward Beatrix, his armor breaking completely in the process."
«It's impossible for a mortal to survive my hell of bullets, but if he wants war, let him come.»—Beatrix thought, and as she had Manolo at a prudent distance, she drew her two-handed sword, and Manolo drew his in the process. They clash swords, but he is destroying her suit with a combination of half-swording, punches, and kicks until Manolo puts her in a Nelson hold around the neck so that Isidro can turn the wand into a stake, stab it into her heart to defeat her, and steal another kiss.
The key appears.
—Finally, we got rid of her. —Manolo said.
—I wanted to be with her. —Isidro Answered.
—If you keep this up, they're going to sue us. —Manolo replied.
—What do you want me to say? It's not my fault for wanting a bit of love. —Isidro Answered.
—At least, Sonya, he doesn't give it to you. —Manolo replied.
—She does give it to me, but... I need a different kind of love. —Isidro Answered.
—You are sick, Isidro. —Manolo replied.
—Yes, I know, but about love. —Isidro Answered.
They put the key in the lock, turn the handle, and enter the next floor.
When they enter, they fall into a rowboat, where hellish monsters are attacking them. They row at full speed until a monster throws them out of the boat; Isidro clings to Manolo until the monsters play with their food. Manolo waits for a monster to charge at him, catches it by the teeth, pulls out the tooth, and gives it a bat swing that knocks it out.
Manolo grabs the monster by the tail to use it as a weapon against the other monsters, scaring them completely. They surface to catch their breath.
—We need a better plan because I imagine the scoundrel is at the bottom of this vast sea. —Manolo said.
—I can use magic to breathe underwater. —Isidro replied.
—I think with my powers I can breathe underwater. —Manolo Answered.
—I have always wondered if using your powers doesn't come with any consequences. —Isidro replied.
—I don't know, these powers are a bit strange for me, but if they come from God, I don't have to worry about it... I think. —Manolo Answered.
—Just be careful, you fought against Aldrich; she wiped the floor with you, powers and all. —Isidro replied.
—Yes, I will be careful, I won't hold back with my powers, so, God, I count on you. —Manolo Answered, rolling his eyes.
—Let's get to the point. —Isidro Said as they submerged into the water. Isidro uses magic to propel himself, and Manolo, with the strength granted to him by the power of the cross, to dive quickly. They arrive at an underwater castle where the floor guardian is; they break down the main door, face several monsters until they reach the throne room where the floor guardian is.
—Welcome to my humble abode, my name is Aqua Deadbite, guardian of the fourth floor." —Aqua Said, who is a kind of female Rikuo from Darkstalkers, wearing a dress made of seaweed and seashells, with a trident as her weapon.
—Hey, babe, let's get it on. —Isidro replied.
—Isidro, keep your womanizer meter to a minimum. —Manolo answered.
—I don't understand the mortal's jargon, but I know he wants to mate with me. —Aqua replied.
—Wow!, good reading of the moment, miss. —Manolo answered.
—Thank you, fat mortal; now, if you think, skinny mortal, that you are going to defile me, you are completely mistaken, my body belongs to Angus Ocal Gain, the supreme lord of the tomb of Nezorick. —Aqua replied.
—But, daughter of your damned mother, I know I'm fat, but don't tell me. —Manolo Answered, who gets offended.
—The truth will set you free, mortal, don't you know? —Aqua replied.
—What truth, what nothing, I hate with all my soul and with all my being that you say it to me. —Manolo Answered, whose blood begins to boil with anger.
—You are a big-bellied, fat man, whose days are numbered, even though kings and nobles are like that, but I say what I see, and what I see is a big-bellied, fat black man. —Aqua replied.
—The courtesy is over, I'm going to gut you like a Christmas chicken, you filthy piece of trash! —Manolo Exclaimed, who lunges at her, but she shoots an energy beam that knocks him out of the castle.
Isidro calls out for Manolo and shoots a magic beam at Aqua, but a bubble protects her. His castle turns into a monster that spits Isidro out. The castle and an army of monsters are in front of them.
—Damn anyone, she'll pay dearly! —Manolo Exclaimed.
—Yes, Manolo, get angry with her, destroy her, and break her into a thousand pieces.—Isidro replied with a malevolent voice.
—Get ready, whore, here comes the god of war. —Manolo Answered, who lunges at the monsters, and they do too.
The battle is fierce; Manolo, with his super strength, crushes them, mutilates without pity or mercy until he reaches the castle where Aqua fires several energy blasts from her trident.
Manolo takes a trident from the decorative armors to fight against Aqua. They fight fiercely, but a tentacle emerges from the floor to the surface, where several waves and Aqua's punches hit Manolo.
—You can't handle me, you damn fatso, so get ready to die. —Aqua replied, laughing wickedly, but Manolo with brute strength split the ocean in two to face each other, one-on-one.
She uses her water powers to close the ocean, but for some reason, her powers don't work. Manolo lunges at her to kick her butt brutally.
—I am a woman! —Aqua shouted.
—Welcome to social equality, anyone. —Manolo Responded, who kept hitting harder until she gave him the key to let him be, but Manolo kept kicking his butt until he raised his castle and added while throwing the castle on top of him. —Castle in your face, anyone.
From the foundations, he lifts a piece of rock with the castle on top, throwing it to infinity and beyond.
—You went too far, Manolo. You didn't even let me do anything to him. —Isidro Said, who meets with him.
—She brought it on herself, although I also broke Beatrix's mother's back. —Manolo Answered.
—Well, as you wish, let's move on to the next floor. —Isidro replied, who sees the door to the next floor. They open it with the key.
They enter a place that looked like Antarctica because of how cold it was. Isidro hands him a coat he had in his armor.
—How cold, so good. —Manolo said he's freezing to death, but he enjoys it.
—This armor keeps me warm. —Isidro Answered.
—Isidro, could you repair my armor? Even though the cold is nice, I don't want to die from it. —Manolo replied.
—I can't; if I reconstruct it with magic, your power will reject it and destroy the armor again. —Isidro answered.
—Well, what can you do? And this damn blizzard doesn't help. —Manolo replied, and with a clap, the blizzard ceased, and they walked through the void of the ice world.
Ice monsters, along with several sasquatches, emerge from the snow. They charge at them, but Manolo, with a powerful clap, makes them retreat; now it is they who charge at the monsters. Manolo takes care of them with his fists, and Isidro uses his magic, as well as the weapons that the armor possesses, to defeat them.
—Look in the distance, an ice castle. —Isidro Said.
—That must be the home of the guardian of this floor. —Manolo Answered.
They run toward the castle, not before taking care of the enemies on the way until they reach the place, where there are ice sentinels shooting ice beams at them. Manolo hits them with his bare hands to send them back.
—Incredible, those powers of the cross make you invincible. —Isidro Said, who shoots magic rays at the sentinels.
—I'm not complaining about your magic. —Manolo replied as they defeated the sentinels and broke the ice door; they continued to face several ice men and sasquatch until they reached the throne room.
—Welcome, inferior beings, to my humble abode. I am Icezel Cooldown, the guardian of the fifth floor. —Icezel Answered.
—This supreme gentleman has some really tough women. —Isidro replied.
—I know, but I only have eyes for my Yuleika. —Manolo Answered.
—As you wish, listen to me carefully, darling, we are here to make an installation, give us the key peacefully, and no one will get hurt. —Isidro replied.
—Except for his henchmen, whom we took care of. —Manolo Answered.
—Because you ruin the moment. —Isidro replied.
—I know the reason why you are here. You should know that we are against our supreme lord obtaining that technology. —Icezel Said.
—Yes, we know that, but it is the word of your supreme lord; if he says he wants something, you must respect his decision. —Manolo Answered.
—I know, but we will not allow our supreme lord to be seduced by their deadly inventions. —Icezel replied, unleashing a blizzard from his body that conjured more ice men.
—You will never understand that progress will never be stopped; no matter what you do, you will never stop us. —Manolo Answered, and with a clap, the blizzard ceased, and the enemies were thrown off, while Icezel was violently slammed against the wall.
—You are strong for a mortal. —Icezel replied as she straightened up, considering what she had added. —Let's see what you're made of.
They clash their swords until they break, engaging in a hand-to-hand fight. She summons some minions to buy time; she freezes herself, shatters the ice from her body to create an ice mech armor. As they defeat the minions, she makes an ice sword for herself and another for Manolo to engage in a sword duel. Manolo takes the sword, they lunge at each other and clash swords; they fight while enemies emerge from the floor. Isidro takes care of them, but some reach Manolo, and he uses them as weapons to hit her. The battle is so powerful that the castle trembles until stalactites begin to fall from the ceiling.
—Manolo, finish her off, this place is falling apart. —Isidro Said.
—Go if you want, but I have a key to get. —Manolo replied, who is hitting Icezel.
—It's fine. —Isidro Answered as he leaves.
The castle finishes falling, and Manolo breaks her armor, hands, and legs, and crashes a piece of the castle into her, defeating her in the process. The key appears in front of him and Manolo emerges from the rubble with the key.
—You defeated her. —Isidro Said.
—Yes, I have the key here. —Manolo Answered.
—Let's get out of here. —Isidro replied and added as the door appeared in front of them. —But you didn't leave me anything to do something.
—No, and stop that, I see you very desperate for affection lately, it's because the magic is making you this way. —Manolo Answered.
—I don't really know. —Isidro replied.
—Well, think about it, I don't want you to lose yourself. I need you, Isidro. You are my companion. —Manolo Answered, who grabbed him by the shoulders.
—Thank you, Manolo, for worrying. Can I ask you something, Manolo? —Isidro replied.
—If I become a monster... —Isidro Answered.
—I will treat you as I always do. You can be sure of that, just don't lose your humanity in the process. —Manolo replied, which makes Isidro remember what Malcolm told him.
—Alright, Manolo. —Isidro answered while they opened the door with the key to enter the next floor.
They enter a jungle.
—These floors are really strange: first a normal dungeon, then an ocean, then a glacier, now a jungle; what's next? A volcano? —Isidro said.
—Its structure is similar, if not identical, to the floors in the Overlord novel. What will it be that awaits us now? —Manolo asked as they traverse the jungle, but some bushes are moving a lot.
—Watch out, Manolo, we have company. —Isidro replied, but from some bushes, they shoot poisonous darts with blowguns. Manolo is not affected, as he is under the power of the cross, but Isidro is, as the dart hits an uncovered part of his armor.
—Seriously, it had to be in the face. —Isidro Said as he faints.
—Isidro! —Manolo shouted.
—If you want your friend to live, leave your impious crusade in peace and we will open the way for you. —Said a voice from the bushes.
—Never! I will find the cure myself. —Manolo Exclaimed, who was traversing the jungle, facing different animals until he reached a castle in the tree, and added: —Here it is.
Several enemies surround them, but Manolo kicks their butts until he breaks down the main door. They encounter some werewolf brothers dressed as indigenous people.
—So you are the technician who is going to desecrate Nezorick's tomb with your technology." —Said the werewolf.
—First, introduce yourself, rude one, because I've been putting up with all your introductions before kicking your butt. —Manolo responded.
—My name is Wallace Warbreaker. —Wallace said.
—My name is Whitney Warbreaker. —Whitney said.
—And we are the guardians of the sixth floor! —they exclaimed.
—Perfect, now I need you to give me the cure to heal my companion. —Manolo replied, as he urgently needed to save Isidro.
—Alright, if you defeat our beasts, maybe we'll give you the cure. —Wallace Answered.
They bring out their best beasts, but Manolo defeats them in the blink of an eye. This scares Wallace.
—That was luck. —Said Wallace, who got scared.
—Now they will give me the cure. —Manolo Answered.
—Not until you defeat our champions. —Wallace replied.
Their champions appear, and Manolo defeats them in a flash.
—Impossible. —Wallace said he gets nervous.
—Don't let this damned mortal scare you, brother. —Whitney Responded.
—Alright, if you defeat us, we will give you the cure. —Wallace Answered.
They confront Manolo, they jump and run at speeds that exceed light; even when they are about to hit him, he looks at them, making them stop.
—What's going on? What's the fear? —Manolo asked.
—Alright, you win, I'll give you the antidote. —Wallace Responded.
—But, brother, how dare you yield to that mortal? —Whitney whispered into Wallace's ear.
—Instead of scaring him. We made him more dangerous; his gaze reminds me of Aldrich's. —Wallace whispered into his ear, but Whitney hugs him to comfort him.
—Are they going to give me the antidote or not? —Manolo answered.
—Get ready because I'm going to confront you! —Whitney exclaimed, who lunged at him, but Manolo dodged her blows until he managed to land a few.
«I gave it to him several times.» —Whitney Thought.
«It got me, what a blunder.» —Thought Manolo.
This filled Wallace with courage, and he joined the fight. They give Manolo a tremendous beating, but he gets up, plays along, and manages to land a knee strike on Whitney; he connects a DDT on Wallace. They get up, summon their beasts.
—They're all just for me, come on! Come, I have enough for everyone! —Manolo exclaimed.
He fights against everyone, but this doesn't stop him. When he defeats all the beasts, he goes toward them, giving both a beating until they beg for mercy.
—Alright, I'll give you the antidote, but have mercy. —Wallace Said.
They go to a room and hand over the antidote; Manolo gives it to Isidro to drink and he recovers as good as new.
—What did I miss? —Isidro asked.
—From the butt-kicking I was giving these two. —Manolo Said.
—Can I join, those bastards smeared that poison on my face. If it weren't for the contract I have with Meredith, I would have died right there. —Isidro answered.
They beat both of them up; Isidro hits them with magical spells and Manolo gives them a beating with his fists until they drop the key to go to the next floor.
They arrive in a world of burning lava, where demons are torturing monsters.
—This looks like hell, but with monsters. —Manolo Said.
—They must surely be monsters who tried to loot the tomb. —Isidro replied.
—Indeed, you are right. —A voice on the floor responded.
Before them, a demon in a suit appears.
—Welcome to my humble abode, I am the demon Denzel Daemon, guardian of the seventh floor. —Said the Denzel who looks like a cyberdemon from Doom and the Demiurge from Overlord.
—You showed up before your henchmen. —Isidro replied.
—Yes, that takes the fun out of life. —Manolo Answered, who feels disappointed.
—Calm down, dear technicians, I'm not someone who enjoys fighting, as I prefer others to exert violence on my behalf. So I'll give you the key in exchange for playing some games for me, does that sound good to you? —Denzel asked.
—Okay, alright, I'm a bit tired; something different will do me good. —Manolo Answered.
—Yes, why not? But how strange, that he has so much consideration for us, that he doesn't disagree with the installation of Mr. Angus's services. —Isidro replied.
—I'm in disagreement, but my way of proceeding is different from that of the other guardians. — Denzel Answered.
—I understand what I need to do. —Manolo replied.
—Just play my games. —Denzel Answered.
—And, what games are those? —Manolo asked.
—First, it will be an arm wrestling match; second, a fight on a suspended wire; and finally, a go-kart race. —Denzel Answered.
—Alright, let's do it, when do we start? —Manolo asked.
—Right now... —Denzel Said until some cameramen appeared; he changed into a show host's suit and added with a microphone in hand. —Welcome to the television show, The Games of Perdition; I am your host, Denzel Daemon. I hope you enjoy this edition with our guest today, from the company Rare Communications, technicians Manolo Restituyo and Isidro Montero; how do you feel about being on this program?
—I'm ready to pass the games you set for me to continue with my work," said Manolo with a slightly awkward smile. —Manolo Said while making a slightly awkward smile.
—Perfect, that's the attitude. —Denzel Answered.
He teleports him to a kind of structure that sways.
—Welcome to your first test, Manolo. Defeated. The rules are: if you win, you will live, but if you lose, you will be thrown into lava. This structure tilts toward the winning side, so hold on tight. —Denzel Said.
Manolo is facing a demon bigger than him. They put their arms in a surrender position, clasp their hands together, and grip a stick with the other hand.
—Well, on your marks, get set, go. —Exclaimed Denzel, who is starting the competition.
The demon takes the advantage, as he caught Manolo off guard, but he manages to hold on to the structure, even though it is almost collapsing. Manolo, with his power, makes an incredible comeback that ultimately eliminates the demon, causing it to fall into the lava.
—Congratulations, Manolo, you have passed your first test. How do you feel? —Denzel asked, who is interviewing him.
—He caught me a bit off guard, but in the end, I beat him. —Manolo Answered.
—How nice. Now we have your next challenge: you will fight with these sticks against this demon in a blazing volcano; the first one to stay on the rope wins, and the one who loses, well, there's no need to say what their fate will be. —Denzel Said.
Manolo is teleported to a volcano where there is a thin but sturdy rope; he puts on his protective gear and begins to walk along the thin rope.
—My God, it's so hot. —Manolo Said as he walked along the thin rope to reach where his opponent was, in the middle of the volcano.
—Ready... Now! —Denzel exclaimed, who fired a blank pistol.
Manolo fights against the demon, but he finds it difficult with the rope. The demon manages to land a blow that almost makes him fall, but he regains his composure, stays on the defensive, but at one point he loses his balance, falls, but manages to grab the rope and does a 180-degree turn to return to the fight. They continue fighting until Manolo manages to knock him off the rope, but the demon does the same thing he did. The fight intensifies until Manolo manages to knock him down, causing the demon to fall into the lava.
—Congratulations, champ, you're on a roll. —Denzel said he would interview him.
—Thank you, it's just that I want to win. —Manolo Answered.
—Well, Manolo, it's time for your final challenge, which is the go-kart race. Are you ready? The rules are simple: you must reach the finish line in first place; there are some power-ups that will give you an advantage or the opposite, so be on the lookout when you pass by to collect them. —Denzel replied.
—Understood. —Manolo Answered.
Isidro is watching the competition from afar while some succubi treat him like a king.
Manolo gets into his go-kart.
—It's too small for me. —Manolo Said, trying to adjust himself.
The race is about to start; the runners are ready.
—On your marks, get set... Go! —Denzel exclaimed, firing his starter pistol.
The race begins; Manolo and the runners speed down the track at full throttle. He tries to take a power-up that was in his hand, but it denies him.
—What the hell is going on? That was mine! —Manolo Exclaimed angrily and added: —Is he cheating me?
Manolo tries to take the power-up, but the hands deny him. The demons overtake him and leave him in last place.
—Oh, is that how it is? If you're not going to give me my power-ups, then I'll have to make my own power-ups. —Exclaimed Manolo, who uses his powers to gain speed, picks up stones from the ground to stun the runners as he overtakes them, reaching first place in all three laps.
—Congratulations, Manolo, you've won the race with a bit of an advantage, of course. —Denzel Said.
—It's just that they made me struggle; that's why I had to force the victory. —Manolo Answered.
Isidro leaves the throne where the succubi were to go see him.
—Alright, Denzel, give us the key so we can continue on our way. —Isidro Answered.
—Alright, you win, but be careful with the next floors, as my companions are more powerful." —Denzel replied as the door appeared before them and they opened it with the key.
They arrive at a desert where an evil baby was waiting for them.
—I am Babytroyer, guardian of the eighth floor, and your odyssey has come to an end. —Said Babytroyer, who traps Manolo in a black bubble that, every time someone touches it with bad thoughts, causes his powers to weaken.
—Impossible, how did you manage it? —Isidro said.
—Elementary, my dear technician, Manolo's powers are powers granted by God, but what would happen if you add a bit of sin, like bad thoughts? That would cause his powers to weaken. It's not the first time I've faced a man of God; now, if you want to get him back, you have a long way to go before he ends his life. —Explained Babytroyer as he teleported with Manolo to his castle.
Isidro is left alone while some sand monsters are surrounding him.
—It's just me against the world. —Isidro said he shoots magical rays at the monsters, but they don't harm him, and he added. —This is going to be harder than I thought.
Isidro runs toward one of the monsters to cling to it and make them kill each other. He runs, evading the monsters that get in his way until he encounters a sandworm that he dodges, but in the end, it ends up swallowing him whole. Thanks to the armor, he can survive in there.
—I won't be able to do this with my own strength, I'll have to do it. —Isidro Said as he makes some symbols inside the worm and summons a hologram of Meredith.
—I need your help, Meredith; magic doesn't work in this world, I need your strength! —Isidro Exclaimed.
—I love it when you depend on me; what floor are you on? —Meredith asked.
—I'm on the eighth floor, a baby trapped Manolo in a bubble, and I'm about to be turned into worm poop. Do you have anything to get past this floor? —Isidro replied.
—Are you ready to give me your humanity —Meredith responded.
—Yes, I will, just give me a weapon to face Babytroyer. —Isidro Answered.
Meredith laughs diabolically.
—I, Meredith Netherland, princess of the dark dimension, grant you the SpawnHeel sword, so that you may defeat your enemies! —Meredith Exclaimed as she handed him the sword, and Isidro lost his humanity, transforming into a strong, black, Lovecraftian monster.
Once Isidro's armor melts, he splits the worm in half with his sword and faces the monsters of that world until he defeats them. Once defeated, Isidro arrives at the castle and with difficulty defeats the castle's monsters until he reaches the castle's throne room, where Babytroyer and Manolo are. He frees Manolo, but he wants revenge, but Isidro intervenes.
—Isidro! It's you. —Manolo Exclaimed, impressed.
—Yes, that's your partner, he surely sold his humanity to free you. Now you are going to fight against him. —Babytroyer Said.
—Scoundrel!—Manolo Exclaimed, who is fighting against Isidro while evading his attacks."
—No, visionary! —Babytroyer Exclaimed, who laughs diabolically.
—I don't want to hurt you, Isidro, I know you're there. —Manolo Answered, who tries to talk to him, but he can't, as his companion is a monster out of control, and added. —You must come to your senses; you may be a monster on the outside, but you are my companion, Isidro.
Isidro can't hear it until Manolo submits him, but parts of Isidro's body bite him.
—I know you can hear me, Isidro. You have a life ahead of you; all that sacrifice you made, everything the branch of the dark dimension made you go through, all the tears you shed, all those bad nights, all the people you met, I know that the perverted, cowardly Isidro is within you. —Manolo Said, trying to reach his heart with his words.
Isidro struggles with himself until he manages to come to his senses.
—Manolo. —Isidro, Said coming to his senses.
—Impossible. —Babytroyer answered.
—Yes, Isidro, it's me, Manolo, your partner. —Manolo responded.
—Manolo, what happened? Look at you, sorry. —Isidro answered while Manolo frees him.
—Don't worry, buddy, now we're going to kick this spoiled brat's butt. —Manolo responded.
—Fine, you'll pay for taking away my humanity, you bastard. —Isidro replied.
—Oh, I knew making you kill each other wouldn't work, so come and face your fate. —Babytroyer Responded, who transforms into a muscular man, lunges at them, begins to beat them up until their castle is destroyed, but they manage to separate him to catch their breath. They charge at him to fight; they start throwing punches at Babytroyer until they are fighting at insane speeds that destroy the floor, until Isidro cuts off his limbs with the sword, and Manolo gives him a beating he will never forget. After that, Babytroyer hands them the key and the door appears for them to open it with the key.
They arrive at a kind of hotel.
—What elegance, that of France. —Manolo Said.
—This must be the ninth floor; finally, some civilization around here. —Isidro Answered.
—Welcome to the ninth floor, I am Zeke Zorak and these are my herald servants. —Zeke Said, who is a dragonoid dressed in a suit, bowing.
—I'm Albert Alpha. —Albert said he is a dullahan dressed as a servant who bows.
—I'm Victor Beta. —Victor said he is a cat man dressed as a servant who bows.
—I'm Gladius Gamma. —Gladius Said, who is a doppelgänger dressed as a servant, bowing.
—I am DR3K9 Delta. —DR3K9 Said, who is a servant-dressed android that bows.
—I'm Elizabeth Epsilon. —Elizabeth Said, who is a harpy dressed as a servant, bowing.
—I am Zenovia Zeta. —Zenovia Said, who is a drider dressed as a servant, bowing.
—I'm Osvalt Omega. —Osvalt said he is a mummy dressed as a servant who bows.
—Oh, how refined. —Manolo Said.
—Yes, too much for our taste, Zeke, that's your name, right? —Isidro replied.
—Yes, sir. —Zeke Answered.
—Are we going to fight, or what? —Isidro replied.
—Just like Mr. Denzel, I am not in favor of violence, especially here in this apartment. —Zeke Answered.
—So, how are we going to solve this? —Isidro asked.
—With a food competition. —Zeke Answered.
—Mmm! Food... I like that! —Manolo replied, sounding like Homer Simpson.
—You, Mr. Manolo, will face Milton Slimer, the Slime. —Zeke Answered.
—That's cheating, the slime absorbs everything as if it were nothing. —Isidro replied.
—Don't worry, this will be easy. —Manolo Answered.
—If you say so. —Isidro replied, who was intrigued.
The servants set two tables full of food. Manolo and the slime are ready to eat.
—On your marks, get set, go! —Zeke exclaimed.
Manolo starts eating the food as fast as he can, but the slime eats everything, even what's on Manolo's table, growing disproportionately.
—It seems we have a winner. —Zeke replied, but he didn't reckon with Manolo's wisdom, who sucked up the Slime, leaving it tiny with its core intact.
—And that's me. —Manolo answered.
—Is that legal? —Albert Alpha asked, but Zeke ignored him.
—Alright, Mr. Manolo, you win, here is the key to the next floor, but I warn you: be careful with Miss Aldrich; she is very dangerous, that's why she is our leader. —Zeke Answered as he handed them the key.
—I'll keep it in mind. —Manolo Responded as the door to the next floor appeared.
They open the door with the key until they reach the throne room, where Aldrich is kneeling in front of the throne.
—So I've got you, damn you! —Manolo Exclaimed.
—Anyone but your mother, Manolo. I am the leader of the guardians of the tomb of Nezorick, guardian of the tenth floor, Aldrich Albain. I am also the leader of the anti-project faction, a group of the elites of this world dedicated to opposing the modernization project of the dark dimension. —Aldrich Answered.
—Your godmother in a thong. I would like to know what you have of elite, if you spend all your time locked up in here. —Manolo replied.
—Yours, Manolo. I was Miss Dark Dimension five times in a row; I am the director of the most prestigious institute in the entire dark dimension. I am a shareholder holding shares in many of the companies in this dimension. Also an investor in many of the companies in this world. So I have more elite status than you could ever achieve in a thousand lifetimes. —Aldrich Answered.
—Thanks, any of you two-leggeds, for the explanation, but let's fight once and for all. —Isidro Said.
—And who are you, that you didn't have a human companion, Manolo? —Aldrich replied.
—I'm Isidro, Aldrich. —Isidro Answered.
She laughs.
—So you had a pact with a demon and ended up losing your humanity, by that sword you have, I know who you are. —Aldrich replied.
—That matters now, so get ready, Aldrich, because you're going to pay for everything you've done to the human technicians at the dark dimension branch. Come on, Manolo, let's break his mother. —Isidro answered while they walk toward her, but she teleports them to an arena on the 10th floor.
—I'm sorry, gentlemen, but I won't destroy the throne room with our fight; what better place than the arena? And all the beings of this tomb will witness my might, staining this arena with their blood. —Aldrich replied, snapping his fingers and appearing dressed in his combat armor, which is very similar to Albedo's from Overlord, but more protected.
—Manolo, let's go for it. —Manolo Said as they ran toward her, but she spread her four wings, two from a fallen angel and two from a demon; in a blink, she disappeared and reappeared next to them.
—Mierquina and that speed. —Isidro Answered.
—Don't worry, I'll catch it; focus on hitting it. —Manolo replied.
—Good try. —Aldrich Said and exclaimed as he lunged at them with his spear at full speed and added. —Now, die!
Manolo catches the spear with his teeth and breaks it to take the broken part and stab it in an eye.
—Bastard, you'll pay for that. —Aldrich Said, throwing his spear to the ground and drawing two swords to face the two of them.
Manolo pulls a Bible from his vest to confront her. They lunge at her, but Aldrich's offensive is so powerful that they try to defend themselves as best they can until Manolo manages to land a blow with the Bible that stuns her, and they take the opportunity to give her a beating that ends up breaking her armor. She pushes them away with her power, laughs diabolically, takes her swords, and they rush in to continue the fight, but time stops.
—Well, well, look who we have here, it's Aldrich confronting the technicians who are going to install the service for me. —Angus Said, who is watching them, and added. —Wait, weren't there two?
—But, what the hell just happened? You were the one who stopped time. —Manolo Answered, who is behind him.
—Wow, I'm impressed that someone can move in my time-stopping spell. —Angus replied.
—What impresses me is that he was able to stop it. —Manolo Answered.
—Well, let's finish this. —Angus Said, giving Aldrich a little push while deactivating the time-stopping spell. When everything returns to normal, Aldrich ends up plastered against the wall.
—You are Mr. Angus, the owner of all this. —Isidro Answered, who is falling.
—Yes, it's me, I'm glad you're here, but my guardians caused you a lot of trouble. —Angus Said as everyone kneels before him, except for Manolo and Isidro.
—Quite a few. —Isidro Answered, who tells him everything that happened.
—I'm sorry for losing your human form; I promise to give it back to you. —Angus replied.
—Don't worry, sooner or later it was going to happen. —Isidro Answered.
—Even so, I insist, as it was my guardians' fault. —Angus replied.
—Alright, if you say so. —Isidro Answered.
—Well, gentlemen, let's get started with the installation. —Angus Said.
They reach the tenth floor, but they check the entire place and there is no internal wiring.
—Supreme Lord. —Manolo Said.
—What's up, Manolo? —Angus asked.
—There is no internal wiring. —Manolo Answered.
—My wiring is magical, it uses seals to function. —Angus replied.
—Isidro, you know how to work with that type of wiring. —Manolo Answered.
—I took some courses, but I don't know how to modify that thing. —Isidro said.
—So, what do we do, Mr. Angus? We can't install it like this; you'll have to put in pipes or modify your magical wiring to make the installation work. —Manolo Answered.
—Let me call my technician. —Angus replied, calling his personalized magic wiring technician, who is a toad man. He teleports in front of them; he checks the equipment they provide and starts placing magic circles on them so that both electricity and communication work.
—Ready, that should work. —the frog responded.
—Thank you, Croaks, here's a fly for you. —Angus Answered, who conjured a fly with his magic and ate it with his tongue.
—At your command, your majesty. —Croaks responded, who teleports from there."
—And now, they can install. —Angus Answered.
—But where do we put them, since it might damage the appearance of the place? —Manolo replied.
—Don't worry, I'll take care of it. —Angus Answered, who calls his interior designer, who is a ghost.
—Speak, my overlord. —the ghost replied.
—Irma, I need you to make space for this equipment so it doesn't damage the place's image. —Angus Answered.
Irma begins to modify the equipment casing so that it fits the environment of the place.
—Ready, my overlord, they are already settled in the place. Anything else? —Irma replied.
—Very well, Irma, you may leave. —Angus responded, as she teleports away from there.
—You are prepared for anything, my lord. —Manolo Said, marveling at the service of his servants.
—Yes, I know, even I am impressed by the service of my servants. —Angus Answered.
Manolo and Isidro request Croaks again to interconnect the terminals with the different floors; they place the services in the locations that Angus indicates, as it is throughout the tomb. After a while, they find themselves tired; one of the servants serves deadly appetizers to Manolo and appetizers from the dark dimension to Isidro.
—These appetizers would have upset my stomach when I was human, but now that I'm not, they're good, do you want some, Manolo? —Isidro said.
—No, thanks, Isidro, I'll stick with my pastries. —Manolo Responded as he ate his snacks.
After that, they say goodbye to Angus and his people. They are teleported to where their vehicle is, get in, and head to a mountain where they hide to rest from that titanic facility.
Once they finish resting, someone calls Manolo.
—And what the hell are you calling me for, Meredith? —Manolo said, who answers the call because of what he said. —Hello, Meredith, what's up?
—Isidro is with you? —Meredith asked.
—And yes, why? —Manolo asked.
—I want them to come here, it's a surprise; don't tell Isidro anything, just say they are restocking or tell them Camilion is calling them; you know how to handle the situation. —Meredith Answered.
—Alright, let's go now. —Manolo replied, ending the call.
—Who was it? — Isidro asked.
—It was Camilion, who wants us to stop by there. —Manolo Answered.
—Ah, well, I hope it's nothing bad. —Isidro replied.
They go to the branch; when they enter the warehouse, they are surprised by Sonya and the others with a surprise party for Isidro's transformation.
—Oh, thank you, you didn't have to do this. —Isidro Said, almost in tears.
—Even so, this has to stay between us at least until we do the paperwork for you to become a resident of the dark dimension, so take this bracelet, which will keep your monstrous form hidden. —Meredith Explained.
—We are with you, Isidro, anything or any doubt about your new form, we are here for you. —Camilion Answered.
—Alright, I really appreciate it, I will give my best in this company. —Isidro replied.
They enjoy the party, but when it's over, Manolo goes to the corner where Sonya and Isidro are talking to be alone.
—What's wrong, Manolo? You look down. —Ludovico asked, who sits down next to him.
—Because of my weakness, Isidro became a monster; I have to be stronger to protect the people in my charge. Thank God, those from the anti-project faction don't know I have a family, or maybe they do; I don't want to lose anyone. —Manolo explained.
—You won't, God is with you; maybe you fell, but you were able to get back up, just keep praying so that your strength doesn't waver. —Ludovico replied.
—Thank you, Ludo, it's great that you're by my side in the most difficult moments. —Manolo Answered.
—We're here to help. —Ludovico replied, giving him a hug that restored his spirits, making him return to work, so they restock and hit the road to work on more orders until they take a break.
In the castle where the anti-project faction meets.
—What happened, why isn't Aldrich here? —Sargoth asked.
—According to what she informed me, she was punished by the supreme lord and for now, she will speak remotely. —Oculan replied.
—Greetings, compatriots. Maybe I'm not physically there, but I will be aware of the meeting. —Aldrich replied through a magical hologram.
—Well, Aldrich, and now that you have failed to stop the technicians. What's next? —Infernus answered.
—I have another plan; thanks to our spy inside the branch, this new plan will work. —Aldrich replied.
—I hope so because there's already a forty percent chance that the dark dimension has Rare's services. — Oculan answered.
—Don't worry, my comrades, this time it will be the one.—Aldrich replied.
—Yeah, right, tell that to someone else. —Kulbain Answered.
Aldrich casts a magic bolt that knocks him off the chair.
—Someone else. —Aldrich said.
—No. —They all answered.
—Well, the meeting is over. —Aldrich Said.
Once they finish resting, they see in the Ordenation that the remaining orders are in the ocean, in the kingdom of Fallentis.
—Interesting, a mission in the ocean; luckily, I've played several submarine video games, so we can make up for that. —Manolo Said.
—Tell me what you haven't played or seen; your knowledge impresses me. —Isidro replied.
—I've played a bit of everything. —Manolo Answered.
Manolo starts his vehicle, but they encounter several drivers belonging to the anti-project faction, so they defeat them along the way in the most ultra-violent manner possible until they reach the port of Martis. They then enter the vehicle and jump into the water to switch it to motorboat mode, so they traverse the sea, but more henchmen from the anti-project faction are hot on their heels.
—Those bastards don't give up. —Manolo Said.
—Summon Pinky to get rid of them. —Isidro replied.
A naval battle breaks out, where Pinky jumps onto the ships, crashing them into each other and causing chaos, then Manolo activates the life raft with a rope to be towed by the boat. Isidro shoots at him and destroys the boats, but they launch guided missiles that Manolo evades until he suddenly brakes so the missiles collide with each other. Some ships emerge in front of them, but Manolo destroys them with missiles and frontal weapons.
Once they finish off the enemies, they reach the client, but he is underwater, so Manolo activates submarine mode to dive into the sea.
Upon immersing themselves in a beautiful aquatic ecosystem, they are left in awe.
—I'm going to call the client to see where they are. —Isidro Said.
—Yes, do it. —Manolo Answered.
Isidro calls the client and someone answers the call.
—Hello, Cylax, who am I speaking with? —said a female voice.
—Greetings, Cylax, I am Isidro Montero, technician at Rare Communications; am I speaking with Miss Aquaria Marina? —Isidro asked.
She screams with happiness that can be heard in the fleet.
—How nice of you to be here, where are you headed? —Aquaria asked.
—We are facing a very beautiful ecosystem that I can't describe. —Isidro Answered.
—They are surely by the Maritia reef; you go straight ahead, there's a fissure where there's a kraken you can take care of, which has made life impossible for the inhabitants here. If you want, we can make the code proceed with violence so you can take care of it; even so, I will send one of my servants to guide you. —Aquaria Explained.
—Sounds good to me, how will we recognize him? —Isidro Answered.
—It's a very cute clownfish, it's on its way now. —Aquaria replied.
—Perfect, we will be waiting. —Isidro Answered.
While they wait, some faction submarines head toward their position and launch several torpedoes.
—We must defend this reef, Pinky, Isidro, take your positions. —Manolo Said.
—Understood. —Isidro responded.
They position themselves; the submarines fire a rain of missiles at them, but Manolo evades them, and Isidro with Pinky fire some torpedoes when they are in sight. Pinky enters the torpedo tube. Isidro fires it with him inside and is shot out while Pinky uses it as a skateboard, so he grabs several enemy torpedoes to launch at them. The clownfish sees how the technicians face the enemy submarines, so it becomes a spectator and Aquaria uses her powers to see through the fish's eyes.
—Technicians, you can do it! —Aquaria shouted, who is sitting on a sofa eating a kind of popcorn and aquatic soda.
Once they finish off all the submarines, they see the fish behind them. Manolo uses the megaphone to talk to the fish.
—Are you the fish that will accompany us? —Manolo asked.
—Yes, my name is Simo and I have come to accompany you, follow me. —Simo Answered.
—Perfect, lead us. —Manolo Responded, so he speaks to Isidro. —Call the client and make the code proceed with violence.
—Alright, give me a minute. —Isidro replied, calling the client to tell them that the center will call them.
Isidro performs the procedure and the client explains to support what is happening along the way, so they accept the code, allowing them to attack the Kraken without remorse.
They follow the fish and evade the obstacles until they reach the Kraken, who is sleeping.
—We must be quiet so we don't wake him up. —Manolo said.
—Yes, he gets up, we take him down right there. —Isidro replied, but to his misfortune, he gets up and his tentacles try to attack them, but Manolo evades them.
He tries to hit it with several torpedoes, but they are destroyed by the Kraken. He shoots several magical rays at him, but Manolo dodges them. They approach the head, and Manolo activates the suicide bomb mode to crash into its head, taking it out of circulation.
—You killed him. —Isidro Said.
—He's alive, for now, so let's go, before he gets up again. —Answered Simo, who pressed his head and felt his vital signs.
—Let's go before he gets up. —Manolo Answered.
They arrive at Miss Aquaria's castle. She comes out to greet them and guides them to park the submarine in the designated spot. It turns out she is a mermaid very similar to Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid, the redhead with fair skin, voluptuous and athletic, wearing a dress made of seaweed.
They put on their diving suits to then take out the marine materials from inside and then exit the vehicle.
—A pleasure to meet you, I expect a lot from your service. —Aquaria Said as she hugs and kisses them on the cheek.
—The pleasure is ours, Miss Aquaria, guide us to see the interior of your home. —Manolo Answered.
They enter, and Isidro sees in their order that it is a service for phone, internet, and Rare TV +. He informs the customer and she says it's correct.
—A question: in this castle, is it normal or does it have internal threats? —Isidro said.
—It's safe, I have several ghosts in this castle; they can take care of them. I also have pets that are a bit dangerous, but that's something you know how to handle. If you want, you can call again to take care of them. —Aquaria Explained.
Isidro goes to his ordination, uses the code to proceed with violence again, calls the center, and they use the code again so that she ends up accepting, thus concluding the call.
They are going to get more materials since the place is immense; along with the repeaters, Manolo also takes some water guns for the pets and some stuffed animals for the ghosts. Once they bring everything to the room, they proceed with the installation. When Manolo goes to the terminal, the ghosts approach him, but Manolo notices them, takes out his plush toys, ties them to a rope, and, like the god of war, starts capturing several ghosts in the plush toys. Once he captures them, he realizes they are human technicians and takes them to the vehicle to leave them at the branch so they can be revived. Then he goes back to work to connect the terminal, so he calls Isidro to pull the cable and then continues working with the cables, placing the repeaters all over the castle, but the pets he has—sharks, ocelots, among other carnivorous animals—prevent him from doing so. So, Isidro casts a calming spell on them, but it doesn't affect them, so Isidro shoots several calming rays at them while they try to bite him, but he manages to calm them down. Manolo places several telephones throughout the house and then they put the little boxes where the televisions are.
They show them how the service works, she is very happy with the service, so they leave there and continue installing more services outside the sea.
After they finish all the orders, they go to the branch to eat for a while; Manolo hands Hope the stuffed animals they have collected along the way, after which Isidro goes to sleep on a bench and Manolo starts playing video games in the warehouse.
Sonya meets Manolo, who is sitting in a chair.
—And Isidro, where is he? —Sonya asked.
—He's sleeping on a bench, why? —Manolo asked.
—Alright, I'll leave him alone; he must be tired, the poor thing. —Sonya Responded.
—Yeah, sure... Hey, can I talk to you for a moment, if you're not busy, of course? —Manolo answered.
—Yes, I can, come, I have the perfect place for us to talk. —Sonya Responded as they headed to the place where Isidro usually meets with her.
She brings some energy drinks, soda, and ice pops.
—This conversation is going to be really long. —Manolo Said, who is having a soda, an energy drink, and an ice cream coated in chocolate with a vanilla center.
—Yes, I know. —Sonya replied, who takes an energy drink and an ice cream.
—How did you fall in love with Isidro? —Manolo asked.
Next, Sonya recounts how she fell in love with Isidro:
»Well, I was Malcolm's mistress, we did it every day, of course, he put a seal on me that prevented me from having children, until Isidro came along, the damn guy flirted with me every chance he got, every time he returned from his deliveries, he was in bad shape, had dark circles under his eyes, sweated blood from the amount of stress he was under, besides losing his colleagues, so I decided to pay attention to him, I was his motivation to come back alive, only I didn't realize I was falling in love with him, so I decided to leave that relationship with Malcolm and he agreed since he was recovering his marriage, so we became friends, when he was free sometimes with my money we traveled all over the world, until one day I did it with him in my werewolf form and that's how we consummated our love.
—Did they really do it while you were in your werewolf form?! —Manolo exclaimed, taking a big sip of his soda.
—Yes, if he was going to do it, he had to accept me as I am. I tried to kill him in that form several times, but he got used to it; sometimes we do it in my human form. —Sonya Answered, taking a sip of her energy drink.
—Well, your story is very nice, although you admit that you might have a harem, I say. —Manolo Responded, who opens a can of energy drink and takes a sip.
—I'm okay with that; in my pack, they accept harems, so I have no problem with it. —Sonya Answered, taking a sip of her drink.
—You guys with the dark dimension are completely crazy, well, let me wake up Isidro so we can leave, but let me eat a couple of ice creams, some sodas, and some energy drinks. —Manolo Responded while doing what he said.
After this, Isidro goes to the warehouse where he sees Manolo restocking the vehicle.
—Something happened while you were away. —Isidro Said.
—No, I just invited him for some drinks and ice cream, why? —Sonya asked.
—Ah, well, but let's get to work because we have several orders to work on. Sorry for not drinking with you, but those facilities had me worn out, that's Manolo, a slave to the system. —Isidro replied.
—Don't worry, we can share later; you call me and you know where we'll meet. —Sonya responded.
—Well then, see you later, darling, we have work to do. "Are you done, Manolo, or do you need help?" —Isidro replied.
—Of course, buddy. —Manolo answered.
They restock and leave the branch to continue installing services before taking a break.
