All three of Katherine's servants sat on the floor, gathered around what looked like a small replica of the Beacon of Knowledge. But up close, it was clearly made of narrow wooden tiles stacked carefully on top of each other.
Lucy held the pamphlet that came with it, quickly going through the rules.
"So… each of us takes turns pulling out one tile," she said, looking between them. "You have to do it without making the others fall."
She flipped the page slightly.
"And if any tiles fall—not the one you're trying to take out—then as punishment, you have to either answer a question truthfully… or do a dare. The person before you decides the question and dare."
She paused, scanning the rest.
"…Oh, and the tile you take out? You have to place it back on top of the tower—without knocking it over."
Both Ravees and Cassian nodded—the rules were simple enough.
"Then I'll go first?" Cassian asked.
They agreed.
