Even without feeling the pain, Cassian could still feel the blood trickling down where Fenja's sword had sunk a few inches into him.
"I haven't done anything to her. She just like getting fucked by me," he said with a wide smile, only angering her further.
Then he added,
"You saw her loving it, didn't you?"
That only angered her more.
She had seen it, but knowing how manipulative Cassian could be—she had watched many people lose their freedom to him, herself included—there was no way she believed it was genuine. In her mind, he had to be using the slave mark to twist her sister's feelings, forcing her to want it.
"If you don't believe me, ask her," Cassian said.
He didn't look worried in the slightest. At a single command, he could make her lower the sword through the slave mark if he wanted to.
But he didn't, because he knew she wouldn't be that stupid.
And just as he expected, Fenja pulled her sword away.
