Chapter 166 - Driver Nephi

Six wasn't going to hesitate to use his full power against the Fiends. The moment the last of Cook-Cook's flames died down, leaving nothing but charred remains, his mind was set. There would be no warnings, no offers of surrender—just pure, unrelenting annihilation.

With Cook-Cook reduced to a corpse riddled with holes by Rebecca, Six turned his wrath toward the rest of the remaining Fiends. He used the info Violet gave him to track down Driver Nephi's location, back to his stronghold north of the Samson Rock Crushing Plant.

Reports from NCR Rangers spoke of Nephi, a brute who wielded a golf club like a war hammer, taking pleasure in crushing skulls and breaking bones. But Nephi was just another insect to be crushed under the enraged Six's heel.

Armed with his Rokushiki techniques and Haki, Six stormed the hideout.

The moment he arrived, the fiends barely had time to react. Six vanished in a blur, utilizing Shave to close the distance before a raider could even lift their weapon. Using Finger Pistol he pierced their hearts.

The raiders barely had time to gasp before collapsing, blood spraying from the precise holes Six had driven into his chests. The others froze for a fraction of a second—just long enough for Six to vanish again.

Gunfire erupted. The air filled with the staccato bursts of automatic weapons, the muzzle flashes casting jagged shadows across the ruined walls. But it was futile. Six weaved between bullets effortlessly, his form shifting like a phantom as he used Kami-e to evade each shot with unnatural fluidity.

Another Fiend lunged at him with a jagged combat knife, desperation in his wild swing. Six caught the man's wrist midair, twisting it with bone-snapping force before driving his other hand straight through the raider's throat with Finger Pistol. The Fiend gurgled and collapsed in a heap.

A fearless Fiend lunged at him with a rebar club—only for Six to twist midair, Moonwalk propelling him upward. Before the raider could react, Tempest Kick lashed out, a compressed air blade severing the man's torso in two.

From the back of the hideout, a bellowing roar echoed—Driver Nephi.

The hulking raider emerged, dragging his infamous golf club behind him, its steelhead already coated in dried blood. His crazed eyes locked onto Six, a sneer splitting his scarred face with an expression of twisted rage.

"You think you're tough, motherfucker? So you're the new bastard who's been tearing through my guys."

Nephi growled, rolling his shoulders.

"You just killed my best guys! I'll crush your goddamn skull! What, you think you're some kind of monster?"

Six's expression was cold.

"No..."

He said simply.

"I just kill them."

Nephi charged, swinging his golf club, it whistled through the air with his inhuman strength, the sheer force shattering a concrete pillar nearby. Six sidestepped the swing with ease, his Observation Haki predicting the brute's movements.

"You're fast."

Nephi admitted, a manic grin spreading across his face.

"But let's see if you can handle this!"

He swung again, this time faster—more erratic. The ground cracked under the force of his strikes, each blow strong enough to turn a lesser man into paste. But Six wasn't a lesser man.

Dodging one last wild swing, Six drove his knee into Nephi's gut, doubling the raider over. Before Nephi could recover, Six's hardened fist, infused with Armament Haki, crashed into his ribs with a sickening crack, sending him skidding across the concrete floor.

A normal man would've died from that.

Nephi wasn't normal.

Nephi spat blood, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. His eyes flickered with something between rage and exhilaration.

"Heh… Not bad, asshole. But you ain't getting out of here alive."

More Fiends poured in, screaming war cries. Six didn't let them take another step.

With a single deep breath, he activated Kami-e, his body flowing like paper as he weaved through their attacks. Knives, bats, and bullets missed him entirely. Then, with a burst of Finger Pistol, his fingers pierced through multiple raiders' throats, leaving them to choke on their own blood.

"Heh… that all you got?"

Nephi roared in frustration, swinging wildly. Six dodged each strike with Observation Haki, his movements effortless, as if he could predict Nephi's every move. The brute grew more erratic, his swings losing precision with each failed attempt to land a hit.

Six exhaled.

"No."

Decided he'd had enough.

His body vanished again with Shave, reappearing above Nephi, barely registering the movement before Six reappeared above him, his entire body coiling like a spring. In the blink of an eye, Six's foot came crashing down—a Tempest Kick reinforced with Haki.

The impact was catastrophic. The ground shattered beneath them as Nephi's body split in two along with the concrete floor, a web of cracks radiating outward from the impact his body now occupied.

Silence fell over the ruined building.

The remaining fiends hesitated, their bravado crumbling as they stared at their fallen leader.

Six turned his gaze on them.

"Run."

He said.

They did.

Not a minute later Six gunned them down using Observation Haki, not leaving one alive. He surveyed the carnage in silence. The echoes of battle still reverberated in the ruins of the fiend hideout, the air thick with smoke and the stench of blood.

Roger stepped in from the shadows, his sword slung over his shoulder.

"Damn..."

He muttered, glancing at Nephi's divided corpse.

"Wahahaha... Remind me not to piss you off."

Six didn't respond, knowing that Roger wanted to rile him up.

The battle was over. But his work wasn't done yet. He turned toward a rusted door at the back of the hideout—the ones where the NCR reports had said captives were kept. He didn't hesitate.

Behind the rusted metal door, Six found them—half-starved, beaten, barely clinging to life. Some flinched at his presence, others simply stared, too broken to react.

Rebecca arrived, her eyes scanning the survivors.

"They're alive."

She spoke to the others, her tone firm but gentle.

"We'll get you out of here. You're going to be okay."

Her presence seemed to ease the tension in the air, as if her compassion could heal what Six's vengeance had torn asunder.

"For now."

Six exhaled, wiping Nephi's blood from his boots.

"Then let's get them out of here."

As Six moved to the back of the hideout, he took a moment to gather himself, his mind racing through the details of the battle. The Fiends had been ruthless, but now they were nothing more than dust. Their reign of terror had ended, and in its place, there was only silence—save for the sounds of the survivors' labored breathing.

Six's heart hardened as he looked out into the desolate landscape, the ruins of the Fiend stronghold burning in the distance. This is the world they left behind, he thought grimly. And this is the world I'll reshape.

The road ahead was uncertain, but he had no doubt that this victory was only one piece of the larger puzzle. And for now, that was enough.

"Let's go."

He said to Rebecca, his voice steady now, his resolve unbroken.

"We have work to do."

With the Fiends eradicated, their reign of terror ended in a single night.

The NCR would find nothing left but corpses.
