Shen Lingfeng stood in the office, looking out at the pouring rain, the room quiet and still.
He was surprised to receive a call from security.
"What's the matter?"
"Are you busy now? I know this might be me meddling, but Miss Gu really..."
"Miss Gu?" Shen Lingfeng frowned, "What's wrong with Miss Gu?"
"I don't know, maybe she forgot her keys. She's sitting alone on the steps downstairs. I invited her in, but she said she wanted some space. Mr. Shen, I don't know what happened between you, but Miss Gu looks a bit pale, and where she's sitting, the wind blows the rain right onto her."
"Is there no one else with her?"
"No, just her alone." The security officer recalled, "Earlier, a car dropped her off, and after it left, she's been sitting there since."
