"Brother Chenn, you're awake, huh? Why not sleep a little longer?" Xiao Li laughed awkwardly, standing between Beichen and me, acting as a buffer zone.
Beichen attempted to push Xiao Li aside to pick on me, "I've slept enough and don't need any more sleep, get out of the way."
"Don't blame Yuanyuan, it might not be her fault. A relationship should allow for breaking up, shouldn't it?" Xiao Li hugged Beichen's waist tightly and winked at me repeatedly, "Quickly go upstairs and don't come down for a while, until Brother Chenn calms down."
"Oh, oh, oh, thank you, Xiao Li." Gratefully, I thanked her and hurried upstairs with small steps.
The reason I didn't use the Golden Lotus Step was that I was worried Beichen might vent his anger on Xiao Li.
