"Good friends."
Zheng Jin corrected her.
Xu Nianhua smiled and nodded, replying, "Right, good friends."
Zheng Jin happily hooked her arm through Xu Nianhua's. She said, "Then from now on, we can't lose touch."
"Alright."
Xu Nianhua smiled and agreed. Just then, a classmate holding a soda came up to chat with her, so their little secret talk came to an end.
At first, the girls were all drinking soda, but after some time, quite a few started drinking beer too. Once someone took the lead, more and more people followed suit.
"This one's not bad. Want to try?" Zheng Jin had a sip of beer herself. In the heat of summer, the beer must've been chilled in well water, icy cold and super refreshing.
Xu Nianhua glanced at it and smiled, saying, "No need."
Her drinking capacity? One cup and she's out.
With so many classmates here, she'd rather not embarrass herself.
"Then I'll drink."
Zheng Jin hardly ever let loose like this, so naturally, she wanted to enjoy it to the fullest.
