Cheng Youran yawned as she crawled out of bed, excited from last night when Ji Yebai proposed to Ning Xixi, causing her to not sleep well.
But today, there were classes, and she had to get up.
Throwing the pajamas she changed out of into the dirty laundry basket, she slipped into slippers and opened her door.
"Ah!"
A tall figure was squatting by her door, like a giant canine, looking at her eagerly, as if she were a tantalizing piece of meat.
"Xiao Xichen! Are you crazy? Squatting here so early in the morning!" He almost scared her into a heart attack!
Xiao Xichen tugged at her pant leg, staring at her hopefully, "You Ruran, will you marry me?"
"No." Cheng Youran yawned, heading to the kitchen to heat up some milk.
"Why!" Xiao Xichen hustled to follow her, his expression pitifully sad!
Cheng Youran dismissively answered, "Because you're ugly."
Xiao Xichen struck a 'heart pierced by arrows' pose and wailed, "You Ruran, you've hurt my fragile little heart!"
