Tie Kuang raised his hand, and a layer of semi-transparent fire curtain rose around the Black Iron Round Platform, isolating him, Ning Zhuo, and the Nanming Fire Furnace within. The roar of the external furnace fire suddenly diminished, as if it was separated by a thick wall.
The inner array activated.
A silver light flashed in Ning Zhuo's sleeve, and the Spirit Communication Mirror flew out, suspended in front of his hand.
The mirror surface was as clear as water, reflecting a small flame-red shadow deep within the belly of the Nanming Fire Furnace. That was precisely the Vermilion Bird Artifact Spirit.
It had become much stronger than initially. The small bird's body now had bright fiery feathers, but it still huddled deep within the furnace's core, its head buried under its wings, revealing only a tuft of fine golden feathers.
Ning Zhuo's expression was gentle, his voice extremely soft: "Little darling, don't be afraid. After today, you'll be completely repaired."
