Li Yuan looked at the very tidy room and the neatly folded bedding, plopped down on it, and waved at Xia Zhijin.
"Zhijin, come here."
Shyly lowering her head, Xia Zhijin obediently walked over and sat down primly beside Li Yuan.
Seeing her nervous expression, Li Yuan laughed, finding it amusing. He decided to take the lead.
He placed Xia Zhijin's small hand on his thigh.
Li Yuan chuckled. "Zhijin, let's first buy a house in Shancheng for your grandmother and Ning to move into. Then, after a while, once we've convinced your uncles, we can all move to Modu. What do you think?"
Xia Zhijin nodded obediently. "Whatever you say."
Li Yuan smiled. "Then it's settled. We'll head to Shancheng first thing tomorrow morning."
"Mm-hmm." As Li Yuan's hand roamed toward the top of her thigh, Xia Zhijin shyly glanced toward the door, worried her grandmother might suddenly barge in.
