Arslan and I stood face to face together in a damp empty cave filled with darkness. The sound of the waterfall outside was muffled and sent vibrations throughout the whole place.
"How much longer are you going to stand there and stare at me like that, huh? Get down and take off that edgy fashion statement of a bandage already, sheesh."
I twitched.
"It's not a fashion statement! Plus I'm using it to hide the Mark on my palm!" Despite my growling, I did as Arslan said.
I unfurled the pale bandage wrapped around the length of my left arm.
I'd always left my arm covered ever since the dungeon incident. I was supposed to have lost my entire left arm but I was lucky.
