Chapter 7 - Soul Banner

Luo feng gently touched the Dao Comprehension Stone in his mind with his consciousness.

He immediately began practicing the Water Bullet Technique while in the ethereal state; the methods for casting the Water Bullet Technique, which he had just reviewed, clearly appeared in his mind.

Mobilizing his magical power and combining it with hand seals, a small water orb instantly appeared in Luo feng's hand. He looked at the wooden door in front of him, and with a thought, he controlled the water orb to strike the wooden door.

Hmm, it left a puddle of water on the door. Seeing this, Luo feng was slightly disappointed, but he quickly began his next practice session. In the ethereal state,

Luo feng felt exceptionally good; he basically never failed when casting the Water Bullet Technique. He only stopped practicing when his magical power was completely exhausted.

He slightly recovered his spirit and began to sit on the bed, circulating the Profound Water Art to restore his magical power.

With the help of the proficient-level Profound Water Art, Luo feng's recovery speed was at least 40% faster than usual. His magical power, which normally took about two hours to fully restore, was completely replenished in about an hour this time.

Then, he immediately began the next round of Water Bullet Technique practice.

In the morning, Luo feng opened his door, looking a bit dispirited. He had accidentally become engrossed in practicing the Water Bullet Technique last night, which led to him not getting enough rest.

However, he couldn't delay his morning routine either. After breakfast, Luo feng slowly began to practice the Luohan Fist that Li Hu had taught him, in the open space in front of the wooden house.

However, his movements were clumsy and far from standard. He had to stop after practicing each form and consult the boxing manual.

Upon seeing this, Li Hu immediately corrected his practice method.

"You can't be impatient when practicing boxing; you need to have patience. First, master the first form, and then practice the later ones. Practicing them all at once like this will have no effect."

Hearing Li Hu's words, Luo feng also realized he was a bit too eager. Knowing that he would have to move out in half a month had caused his mindset to become unbalanced, lacking his usual composure.

"Thank you for the reminder, Brother Hu, I understand," Luo feng took a deep breath, calmed his agitated mood, and thanked Li Hu.

He began to focus on practicing the Child Worships Buddha form.

Seeing that Luo feng had taken his words to heart, Li Hu also nodded imperceptibly, then went to tend to the Spirit Medicine.

After mastering the Child Worships Buddha form, Luo feng picked up two large wooden buckets and began to tend to his Spiritual Plants.

For the next week, Luo feng repeated this routine: practicing boxing in the morning, then tending to Spiritual Plants, and in the evening, practicing Spells and Cultivating the Profound Water Art.

His gains this week were considerable. He was only two forms away from fully mastering the Luohan Fist, which would then be considered an entry-level achievement. This was the result of his own hard work, completely without relying on the help of the Dao Comprehension Stone.

In terms of Spells, the Water Bullet Technique broke through to the proficient level last night. The water orbs he condensed were not only smaller but also significantly more powerful; at the very least, piercing a wooden door was no longer an issue.

Ever since he broke his own wooden door, Luo feng had never again tested it on his door.

The reason? The hardship of repairing the door the next day; finding a piece of wood to fix it was not easy.

The Light Body Technique had reached Minor Achievement. He could cast it in less than a second, and with a light jump, he could leap over a meter high.

If he were in his previous life, he would probably win an Olympic gold medal without a problem.

After another busy day, Luo feng took out the Soul Gathering Banner left by his original body.

It was a Medium Grade Spiritual Artifact, after all. At the very least, it would be good for self-defense. Luo feng had tested it; at least the banner cloth of the Soul Gathering Banner was quite tough, and mundane weapons definitely couldn't damage it.

Following the method of refining Spiritual Artifacts from his original body's memory, he slowly began to input magical power into the Soul Gathering Banner. The Soul Gathering Banner slowly floated in front of Luo feng.

An hour later, Luo feng had only managed to perform a simple initial refinement of the Soul Gathering Banner, gaining a preliminary grasp of it.

With a wave of his hands, the Soul Gathering Banner flew into Luo feng's hand.

After completing the refinement, the Soul Gathering Banner had already established a preliminary connection with Luo feng.

He was about to test the effect of the Soul Gathering Banner when he realized that only less than a fifth of his spiritual energy remained in his Dantian, which was not enough to activate the Soul Gathering Banner.

"My spiritual energy is still too low," Luo feng said with a wry smile, then honestly began to circulate the Profound Water Art to restore his depleted Spiritual energy.

An hour later, Luo feng had fully recovered his magical power. He slowly input magical power into the Soul Gathering Banner, and instantly, the Soul Gathering Banner slowly floated up. Black mist began to fill the small wooden house where he was.

He didn't know if it was his imagination, but Luo feng felt a chill.

This situation felt a bit like a horror movie from his previous life.

Oh, it's meant for controlling Ghosts, so never mind.

Luo feng suddenly remembered that there seemed to be a Ghost inside this Soul Gathering Banner. According to the original body's memory, this Ghost's cultivation was still very low.

Thinking that he had never seen a Ghost in this world, Luo feng was a little curious about what the Ghosts in this world looked like.

He gave a slight shake of his hand, and immediately a relatively dense black mist flew out of the Soul Banner.

In front of Luo feng, it materialized into a young girl, seemingly less than ten years old, dressed in white clothes, unexpectedly a bit cute.

"Master," the little girl in white said in a clear, crisp voice.

Instantly, Luo feng broke out in a cold sweat. 'Don't tell me I'm that unlucky. This Ghost actually has intelligence. Could it be a Third-Tier Ghost?'

But looking at its aura, it didn't quite seem like it. It felt even weaker than a Qi Refining Stage Two cultivator.

Seeing that Luo feng didn't respond, the little girl flew a bit closer, her expression slightly puzzled.

Luo feng slightly stabilized his mind. This appearance shouldn't be a Third-Tier Ghost; otherwise, he would have died long ago.

"Hello, what's your name?" Luo feng greeted the little girl in white, feeling a bit trepidatious.

"I don't know either," the little girl in white said, shaking her head.

"Then why did you call me Master?"

"..."

Luo feng slowly began to chat with the little girl in front of him.

It could basically be confirmed that the little girl in front of him had nothing to do with a Third-Tier Ghost. Her strength level was just as in the original body's memory, belonging to the weakest type of Ghost; it was just unknown how she developed intelligence.

He didn't know why, but after confirming that the little girl wasn't a Third-Tier Ghost, Luo feng felt a little disappointed. If he had a Third-Tier Ghost to help him, his current problems would be easily solved, and he could walk around this area with confidence.

"Then I'll give you a name," Luo feng suggested to the little girl in front of him.

"Okay." the little girl in white said, a happy expression on her face.

"Since you wear white clothes, how about I call you Bai Yiyi?"

"That sounds very nice. Thank you, Master." Bai Yiyi happily thanked Luo feng.
