Chapter 178 - Chapter 174. Thor's Arrival

"Hey, guys, maybe continue this inside?" Coulson emerged from the ship, wearing an oxygen mask. The Helicarrier had stabilized, and now it was safe to stand on the deck without the risk of being blown away. However, due to the thin air at this altitude, oxygen masks were necessary.

"Oh, they're already ushering us in. Thor, let's go inside. And tell me, what does 'redeem himself' mean?" Tony nodded, seeing Coulson.

"Alright! Loki, let's go," Thor called out to his brother, who had stopped trembling from the recent electric shock. He headed towards Coulson, who was leading them inside.

"Hmph, mortal! I'll remember you!" Loki shot a menacing glare at Tony and followed his brother. He knew that if he strayed too far from Thor, the bracelet on his wrist, enchanted by Odin, would release another shock. One humiliation was enough for him.

"Is something wrong with him?" Tony looked after Loki, puzzled. He wasn't responsible for the bracelet activating. After a moment's thought, Stark shrugged and followed the others.

"Glad to see you again, Mr. Thor," Coulson smiled, greeting the Asgardian prince.

"Um... Yes, I remember you... You're..." Thor tried to recall the agent's name.

"Coulson," he supplied without any embarrassment.

"Ah yes, Coulson! Hello! And there's no need to call me 'Mister.' That's not customary in Asgard. Just call me by my name," Thor clapped the agent on the shoulder in a friendly gesture.

"As you wish, Thor. Stark, and this gentleman, please follow me," Coulson invited everyone to follow him. He didn't know who Loki was, but since Thor brought him along, it didn't arouse any suspicion.

"Your ship is impressive. I didn't expect humans to be capable of creating something like this," Thor praised, looking around as they entered the bridge. Nick Fury, in his usual black trench coat, and Noah, in his battle suit, were already waiting for them.

"Hey, Noah! Long time no see!" Thor boomed as he entered.

He was always straightforward, and his voice echoed throughout the bridge. Everyone around immediately became alert, hearing the name, as Noah's identity, better known as the Storm Swordsman, remained a mystery to most. And now, they finally heard his real name.

Noah merely raised an eyebrow but didn't pay much attention to it. Although his real name was revealed, it didn't bother him too much. After all, "Noah" was a common name, and its disclosure posed no threat. Even though he noticed a bald, bespectacled agent among the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel, resembling Sitwell, the undercover Hydra agent.

But Hydra's days were numbered. He already planned to start dismantling the nefarious organization after dealing with the Tesseract situation.

"Thor," Noah replied curtly.

It hadn't actually been that long since their last encounter. Just a month ago, Thor regained his divine powers after Odin sent him to Earth. However, they hadn't seen each other during this period. Noah was busy with his own affairs, and Thor was preoccupied with his relationship with Jane.

Unlike in the original storyline, Loki didn't use the Bifrost to destroy Jotunheim, as Thor managed to stop him. Therefore, the chaos in the Nine Realms didn't occur.

However, other realms had learned about Loki's actions and assumed that Asgard was preparing to destroy them all. They planned to stage uprisings and resist. Of course, there were also those who had long been dissatisfied with Asgard's rule and seized the opportunity.

After Noah intervened in the plot, the situation changed. Thor became much less occupied—unrest in the Nine Realms occurred only occasionally and didn't require prolonged intervention. The Bifrost remained intact, and now Thor had a lot of free time, which he often spent on Earth, strengthening his relationship with Jane.

Frigga, Thor's mother, was pleased that her restless son had finally matured. She even encouraged him, suggesting he invite Jane to Asgard more often to strengthen their bond. Odin, however, was displeased. His plan was to strip Thor of his powers and send him to Earth as a test, preparing him for the role of king of Asgard. However, to his surprise, although Thor returned to Earth wiser, he fell in love with a mortal and now constantly traveled to Earth to spend time with her.

Odin repeatedly tried to steer his son back on the right path, reminding him that humans had short lifespans, and this relationship was doomed. But Thor disagreed with his father, especially since Frigga supported him. As a result, Thor continued his frequent visits to Earth.

"Yes, I prefer to be preoccupied with women!" That was Thor's response to his father's admonishments.

Eventually, Odin relented. Although his son spent a lot of time on Earth, he still fulfilled all the tasks his father assigned him. Whether it was suppressing rebellions within Asgard's territories or studying the art of ruling a kingdom, Thor performed admirably. It seemed his love for the Earth woman motivated him, and his results only improved, so Odin no longer interfered with his visits to Jane.

"Thor, why are you here? And why did you bring your brother? Shouldn't he be imprisoned in Asgard?"

After greeting Thor, Noah glanced at Loki, standing behind him, and asked his question.

"Father sent us to help protect Midgard. As for Loki, yes, he should have remained in prison, but Father decided to give him a chance to redeem himself."
