Thus, he could deduce the upheaval that had taken place in the Sumeru Divine Prison all those years ago.
The Crown Prince had broken free from his cage on the Third Layer and descended to the Second Layer. He unlocked fifteen of the cages, taking the Saints who followed him. Because the Sword Saint had tried to stop the Crown Prince from unleashing the Dark Tide, the Crown Prince did not help him escape, and might have even killed him right there. The Ten Thousand Earth Saint was most likely killed by the Crown Prince for refusing to follow him as well.
As for the Little Qilin...
Jiang Fan scratched his head.
He still couldn't figure out why the Little Qilin had been locked up in the Sumeru Divine Prison, or how he had warranted the same level of confinement as a Saint. He was even more baffled as to why the Crown Prince had killed two Saints in a row, yet deliberately spared the Little Qilin.
However, all the clues finally aligned!
