Fearing Yang Qi might go back on his word, Tang Fei and his group promptly gulped down the liquor in front of them.
Tang Fei deliberately turned his empty glass upside down. "I'll drink first as a sign of respect," he said with a laugh. "Next up, it's your turn, Brother Yang!"
They were already calling him "brother." It was clear that Tang Fei was getting ahead of himself, absolutely convinced he would win. He didn't stop to consider why he had lost so miserably at the opening ceremony, or why Yang Qi's victory had been so absolute.
Yang Qi simply smiled, picked up his glass, and downed one after another.
