To enter the True Martial White Tower, one had to pay one thousand bucks. It wasn't a huge sum, but not a small one either. Ordinary people simply couldn't afford to come and watch the excitement, as the ticket price was far too expensive. Spectators could freely ascend from the First to the Ninety-Ninth Layer, but each floor they visited cost an additional thousand bucks.
This was an official fighting arena where unrestricted free-for-alls could take place. The fighters grew stronger as one ascended from the First Layer.
If someone wanted to challenge, they were free to choose their opponent, but challenges also cost money. A victory meant the fee was refunded, and there might even be a bonus. Losing, however, was another matter entirely. You wouldn't just lose money—you could lose your life. The fights were never broadcast live. They could only be watched on-site.
