Doctor Nile didn't open the jar directly; he first leaned in to take a sniff.
"No smell at all."
He concluded.
"Hmm... quite a startling conclusion."
Liu Zheng remarked, feigning praise.
"You outsiders wouldn't understand what this implies. Di Yega has a very strong scent, even if the lid is tightly sealed, it can't be completely hidden. Gases are small molecules, solids are large molecules—small molecules will penetrate large ones, you get it?"
Doctor Nile explained.
"Kind of, but not as much as you. You're a priest with free time to study physics; seems like the daily rituals aren't keeping you busy enough."
He squinted.
"We don't have all those tedious ceremonies, just two prayer rites a day are sufficient."
Doctor Nile said while taking out a magnifying glass.
He stuck the magnifying glass to the medicine jar and looked for a moment, then put it away.
