Halfway up Emei Mountain, Li Xiaobao and Han Bing entered a temple called Wannian Temple.
Inside the main hall they entered, several large statues of Buddha with benevolent expressions stood in the hall.
Han Bing was very devoutly holding a stick of incense while kneeling on a cushion in front of the statue, with her eyes slightly closed, seemingly making a wish.
Li Xiaobao also held a stick of incense, but he merely stood slightly in front of the statue, bowing calmly.
Then he turned around, walked out of the hall, and placed the incense in the censer outside.
However, Han Bing still knelt in front of the statue, so Li Xiaobao waited nearby. There were many tourists offering incense around them; several monks were seated nearby in the hall. Whenever someone donated money into the donation box, they would knock on the wooden fish a few times and recite a Buddhist chant, always smiling, looking very kind and gentle.
