The night deepened, even the moonlight hid behind the dark clouds, as if it knew something was about to happen and dared not watch. The wind gently swept through the neon-lit city, stirring the suburban bushes and forests. The wilderness stood in silent stillness, far-off the high-speed train's roar and whistle echoed. Everything seemed so calm, no different from usual. No one noticed the dozen or so people lurking in the bushes on either side of the tracks, their eyes fixed ahead.
Suddenly, the roaring sound of helicopter rotors came from the horizon, everyone froze, looking up to see two helicopters flying over the city, brutally imposing and strikingly conspicuous in the night sky. The thunderous noise reached far, heading toward the whistling high-speed train, like an unbeatable War God charging forth.
