If this were a battlefield with shells flying everywhere, Luo Zheng wouldn't need to ask Cao Xi's opinion at all to know what to do. But here, killing intent lurked in every corner, mysterious and bizarre—an utterly unfamiliar battlefield. Luo Zheng took Cao Xi's opinion very seriously. Cao Xi pondered for a moment, then said, "We can only go forward. Otherwise, the only choice is to retreat out of here."
At this point, they really had no choice but to move forward. Luo Zheng's ruthless streak rose to the surface; he nodded to Cao Xi. Cao Xi understood and continued on ahead, the rest quickly falling in behind. They pushed forward at a brisk pace, and soon another empty cavern appeared ahead. A few corpses lay on the ground. They swept the area with their flashlights and suddenly noticed a hole in the ceiling of the chamber. The opening wasn't large, only big enough for one person to pass through.
