With a humming sound, the bowstring trembled. Ancestor Xu released the string, the arrow shot out, and at such close range it almost instantly reached Yasuo.
Yasuo wore a cold sneer, stretching out his palm to grab the arrow. Blood-colored energy flashed in his hand. He snatched the arrow in one move, the smile on his face growing wider—yet in the next instant, his expression suddenly changed.
The arrow blurred, as if shuttling through another space-time, or turning ethereal, and in a flash it passed straight through Yasuo's palm, striking right at his heart.
The arrow pierced through his heart, carrying his body into the air, then dropping him down to crash onto the crystal coffin.
"How… how can this be…" Yasuo's face was filled with terror, his eyes bulging wide. He tried hard to raise his hand, wanting to grab the arrow stuck in his chest.
