Chapter 14
In the city
The streets were full of cars up side down and some of them were on fire, the sound of metal clashing echo the streets as the girls were having an intense battle against the shadow demons.
Kana delivered multiple slashes to the demons armor but it wasn't enough, "damn it, at this rate will never win."
Kaori used her scythe to cut in halve the armor but it regenerate back, "it's no use, our weapons aren't doing anything to them".
Kazumi began to cast a spell, "then let's see if they can handle magic"... "THE HEAVENS RISE AND THUNDER ROARS, THE WRATH OF THE GODS WHILE BE MY STRENGTH TO DESTROY YOU ALL!!!"...MYSTIC ARTS, HEAVENS WRATH…THUNDER STRIKE!!!", The sky turned dark, the sound of thunder echoed through the buildings, a massive lightning blast went straight to the shadow demons, the blast made a direct hit as it made a huge explosion that shattered the streets, the girls coverd their face as the smoke passed through them. On e the dust cleared out they saw a huge crater and inside were piles of metal shattered.
Akari shakes the dust out of her hair and spoke to kazumi, "woah, that's was a huge blast…good job."
"Yeah i didn't knew you had that kind of power", lily also replied".
"Yeah that was amazing, i even felt a little but of electricity…how about you niko?" Kana ask".
Niko had her hair all spiked up doe to a small lightning stroke her, she was coverd in smoke arms crossed and replied, "…yeah i felt that too…".
Kazumi blush to the compliment they gave her, "oh…thanks…"
"Guys we're not done yet look!" Asuka pointed at the crater.
One of the shadow demons managed to get back on it's feet first.
"What the!?" Kazumi said gasping, one of the demons rush to her generating a dark energy ball that hit kazumi straight into her sending her flying to a car and then falling down to the ground.
"KAZUMI!!!!, iris shouted, she teleported to where she landed and knelt down holding her in her arms, "kazumi stay with me please", she tried to speak but she was to weak, "yui come quick".
Yui rush to iris and saw that kazumi was was unconscious, she also knelt down and began to chant a healing spell, "don't worry iris she's going to be fine i'll take care of her".
Iris with anger in her eyes called for kaori who came running to where they were, "kaori i need you to cover yui while she heals kazumi.."
Kaori got into a defensive stance, "don't worry iris i'll cover them.
Yuki was fighting 3 of them at the same time, as they got closer she took the opportunity and jumped to the sky pointing her katana at them,.. "THE CLAWS OF THE DRAGON THAT DESTROYS MY EMEMIES, "THE JAWS OF THE SERPENT THAT SWIPES RHEM ALL FROM EXISTENCE!!", MYSTIC ARTS SWORD STYLE!!..FANGS OF A FALLING DRAGON," she delivered a fury of multiple slashes to them with full force, impossible to dodge, one by one the fall to the ground in multiple pieces,she landed next to them breathing heavy.
Seconds later they began to regenerate back, they got up and got angry.
Yuki glared in disbelief, one of them dash with extreme speed and use a dark energy bast that hit her in the face sending her flying, right after the demons hit her that Hiro jump and catch her before she could land to the ground.
Both of them landed on the ground.
Yuki slowly open her eyes and saw that Hiro was holding her in his arms, Hiro?…what are you doing here, it's not safe".
Hiro smile at her, "i know, but i can't leave you out here like this…i am going to fight with you.
He put yuki into the ground gently and stood in front of her,one of the shadow demons started to walk to him.
"Ok let's do this",he tried summoning the chaos blade but he couldn't, "huh!?",he tried to focus more but he still couldn't do it, "what's wrong!!" the demon was getting closer, "come on were is this damn sword!!!.
Yuki slowly got up and grasped her katana, "Hiro go now"
"Are you crazy!?, there gonna kill you"
"Hiro I'm giving you an order."
Hiro glared at her, "i said no!!!". He took yuki's sword from her hand and got in a fighting stance, "I'm going to face this thing even if it kills me, and yes i am scared…scared of dying,scared of what might happen to all of you, "I don't care what happens to me, but if anything happens to ether one of you…i'm never gonna forgive myself,
tears began to stream out of her eyes and whispered, "…"Hiro…"
The demon got closer and raised his sword at them, Hiro stood his ground waiting for it to strike, as the demon swung his blade a raven flew pass them, the demon stopped in midway as the feathers descended infront of them, as the demon looked at the feathers a gust of wind blew and the sound of metal clashing was heard. Hiro and yuki looked around confused as the demon slowly fell into a million pieces.
"Wh…what just happened".
The rest of the girls got to where they were and saw that the shadow demon was on the ground, they look at Hiro who had yuki's sword.
"Did you do that Hiro?" Kana ask.
"Woah dude good job, I didn't knew you had it in you", niko said impressed.
"I didn't do this, i thought that one of you cast a spell or something", the rest of the demons were getting closer.
"Now's not the time for celebration we still got to find a way to stop them before the cause more damage", the shadow demons stopped in midway.
"Why do they stop", ask kaori holding her ground.
"I don't know but don't drop your guard". Asuka said grasping her katana".
The shadow demons raised there hands and started to charge a massive dark energy ball.
"This isn't good" lily said.
As they gathered enough energy they thrust there hands forward launching the blast to them.
"Brace yourself!!", iris said as they prepared for the blast to hit them.
"…hollow barrier…", a force filled got in between them, the blast collided and made a huge explosion, after the smoke cleared the girls looked at each other and noticed that they weren't unharmed.
"What just happened?", yui ask looking around.
Momo's ears went up and smiled pointing forward, "Genesis!!", as soon as momo said those words the girls looked an saw that Genesis was standing right infront of them.
With a serious tone Genesis looked over her shoulders and said, "…is everyone ok?"
Tears of joy stream out of momo's eyes as she replied, "yes now that you're here sis".
Kazumi walked forward, "is that really you Genesis?"
"Affirmative…" in a split second Genesis used her extreme speed to slash all of the demons in halve and got back to her place, all of the girls including Hiro were amazed by her speed, seconds later all of the demons began to regenerate, "…i see…"
Lily walk next to her feeling tired, "we tried everything and its pointless".
"Yeah no kidding". Akari said rubbing her shoulders.
Honda talked through Genesis scouter, "Genesis do you copy".
"Yes i copy".
"I've analyzed the structure of those creatures and we found a weak point on them".
"I'm listening"
"Dara shows that there metallic structure it's attached to their central nervous system, if you can manage to cut heads or brake there armor they will become vulnerable."
Genesis took her buster sword from her back and adjusted her foot, she turned her scouter locking on them and waited for the signal.
Hiro look at iris an said, "um iris?"
"Yes Hiro".
"Is that who i think she is?".
"Yes Hiro that's Genesis…the twelve Rose.."
Hiro was amazed that Genesis was able to move so fast holding a giant sword that was the same size as her...she had long grey hair,red eyes and her expression was completely emotionless.
"Let us begin…"
"Be careful Genesis!!", momo shouted.
with one step forward she completely banished, all of them looked around for her as she appeared in front of them, Genesis cut the head of one of the demons as all of the girls gasp,she quickly punched another one on the chest so hard that she broke its armor, the demon was sent flying to a post and slowly got up angry and jumped to the air, she use her speed again and got in front of it and use her sword to delivered multiple slashes to it, one of them tried to sneak behind her but the raven flew right between them, the demon lost his focus as she turned around and kick the chest so hard that the armor got destroyed letting the sun hit the shadow demon and burn down.
Hiro look surprised and said, "we're going to win!!".
One shadow demon challenged Genesis to come and fight it as he drew a blade from his metallic arm, she leaped forward with incredible speed, so did the demon…both of them clashed there blades sending sparks around their swords, the demon pushed forward but Genesis stood her ground, all of them watched the fight holding their hands, Genesis back up making the demon lose his balance, she jump to the air and swung her sword straight to his head but he managed to grab it from the side preventing her to cut it off, the demon smirked at her as the tip of the sword was in front of it, a small grin appeared in Genesis face as she twisted the handle of the sword revealing a trigger, the sword split in halve revealing a barrel in between the it, she then pressed the trigger and whisper... "boom"...a bullet came out of the barrel blowing the head of the demon, all of them had their eyes wide open and gasp at the same time.
"What the!?" Kana shouted.
"How did she..!?" Yuki ask confused.
"THAT IS SO COOL!!".
With a stern tone Genesis said, "it is time to end this"...she got stood a few feet away from them aiming her sword at them, she closed her eyes and chanted... "I WHO STAND IN FRONT OF MY ENEMIES WILL SHOW THEM THE FULL WRATH OF MY SWORD ..I CALL THE POWERS OF THE WARRIORS BEFORE ME...OPEN THE GATES OF HEAVEN AND LEND ME YOUR STRENGTH!!…MYSTIC ARTS…DESTRUCTIVE SHOCK WAVE, she fire's a massive wave of energy that eradicated the rest of them making a massive explosion, the shock wave was so big that it blew most of the glass of the building's near by. After the smoke cleared the shadow demons were completely destroyed leaving nothing but scraped metal, the sword switched back to its original from and Genesis put it in her back, she turned to face her sister as they ran to her.
"Thank you for saving us Genesis, we couldn't have done this without your help". Said iris holding her hands.
"Yeah you really showed those freaks who's boss" Niko said punching the air.
"Um guys, I don't want to mess this beautiful moment but…" Akari pointed at the streets, "we really made a mess".
"Don't worry about it", Genesis use her scouter to call Honda, "Genesis to Honda do you copy.."
"Yes Genesis i copy".
"I need you to send the drones to clean the streets i have to go back to my sisters".
"Copy that".
Genesis walked to Hiro and use her scouter to scan him, "so you must be Hiro…"
"Um… yes i am, how do you know"
"I scan you with my scouter, this device can tell me everything about you, your age, hight, blood type and every detail about you."
Niko slide to Hiro and jumped on his shoulders, "did that thing also mention about him wearing girl clothes to enter a cooking contest Hehehe".
"You wore girl clothes to do what?", said Genesis raising her eyebrow.
Kana trhew a rock at niko as she fall down, "don't mind niko you know how she can be sometimes hehehe…but seriously he's the one chosen by the chaos's crystal."
"Yeah he saved momo from Cecilia and cessiar and also fought with us against the jester", Yuki replied.
Niko walk to Genesis and started at her weapon, "say Genesis how did you do the thing where the sword blew the head of the shadow demon I'm curious…"
Genesis took her busters sword out and showed how the barrel came out.
"Can i hold it?". Ask niko extending her hands at the sword, Genesis gave her the sword…as niko took it both the sword and her fell down do to the fact that it was way to heavy. Kana began to laugh at her as niko tried to lift the sword.
"Whats wrong niko to heavy for you Hahaha", said kana laughing, Niko slowly got up and hold the sword carefully looking around it.
"Bite me", said niko to kana, "so how do you work this thing is there a button i push or something?"
"Just lift it and aim it where you want to shoot it, the use your energy to make it work".
"Soooo just aum it and shoot?"
"Correct"
"Are you sure you should let niko handle a weapon that dangerous?" ,yuki replied worried.
"Oh relax i know what I'm doing.." niko said as she pointed the sword at kana.
"Hey watch where you aum that thing!!! You're going to hurt someone!!" Kana shouted.
"I already said that i know what I'm doing so quit your yapping!!"
"Um girls why don't we all just calm down and stop screaming at each other", Hiro said trying to get them to stop.
"It's kana she started it!!"
"I didn't do anything i just told you to be careful thats all".
"Stop telling me what to do!!!
Kana walked to niko and tried to take Genesis sword out of her but niko didn't want it to let go, both of them struggled for a few seconds, "let go!!!… no you let go", the ketp fighting for it.
Kaori got next to Genesis and ask her, "aren't you going to do something about it?"
"Nah…their gonna get tired eventually"
They kept pulling at the same time, both of their hands accidentally reached the trigger and pushed it activating the gun and send a blast of energy that went straight to Hiro.
"HIRO WATCH OUT!!!" Shouted kazumi.
"Oh crap…", Hiro said as the blast of energy hit him.
All of the girls gasped and covered their mouths, kana and niko dropped Genesis sword and ran straight to Hiro who was laying on the ground eyes swirling and coughing smoke.
"Hiro are you ok!?" Niko said scared.
Hiro still filling dizzy responded, "nest time remain me to never get in between you two while wearing your weapons…".
"…i'll go heal him…" said yui rolling her eyes.
"Lets just go before things get more complicated….kazumi warp us out of here". Asuka said while holding kana and niko from their ears.
Kazumi used her spell to warp them back to the garden, minutes later the police force arrived at the scene, one of the cops got out of the car and walk to where the piles of scraps of metal, she took her glasses out and knelt down grabbing a piece that was lose. Another officer ran to her and spoke to her".
"Captian all of the townspeople have been evacuated so there's no casualties".
"Do they know anything about who did this?"
"No ma'm, all they know is that they were save by a bunch of teenage girls and a boy".
She got up and turned to face him, "repeat that".
"Well one of them mentioned that one girl with long white hair green eyes and ears like a wolf ise some sort of magic spell to heal all of the wounded, they also mentioned that there were more of them…11 in total, and they all have those specific characteristics".
"Hmmmmm, that's completely unusual…are there any cameras around?"
"No ma'm…"
"Make sure to find anything about this creatures that attacked this part of town, and see if anyone has more info on those girls that saved all of this people, also see if you can find any surveillance cameras, I don't care if it's a phone's camera go search…." All of her team nodded and spread out. "Something doesn't feel right and i'm gonna get to the button of this if it's the last thing i'll do…"
