Her mind was filled only with thoughts of fleeing Lucas, not knowing that she had escaped the frying pan and into the fire instead.
Not even a step in the door, and her wrist was already grabbed. Pale fingers with a perfect manicure harshly tugged for her to follow.
"What is it?" Keira struggled out of her grip, only to wince in pain when the woman dug her nails into her skin.
"Look at how disobedient you have become." Her eyes narrowed, and her brows furrowed as she spat those words out of her red lips. "I didn't raise you like this!"
Keira hadn't had such a close contact with Rania since graduation day. Seeing her face-to-face at such a distance, it was hard not to notice the madness in her eyes.
The woman continued to drag her toward her favorite lounge, not once lessening the piercing grip. Keira bit her lower lip to stifle a groan.
