Seimei's vision shifted abruptly.
In an instant, his figure appeared in the forest outside the Hidden Leaf Village.
As usual, he activated his Byakugan, scanning the surroundings. Once he confirmed there were no anomalies nearby, he used the "Heaven's Control" ability to slip through the village's sensory barrier and entered the Hidden Leaf.
Then, he headed home.
What followed didn't need much explanation. He first recalled the shadow clone he'd left stationed there, absorbing its memories to catch up on everything that had happened in the village over the past ten days. Next, he made a trip to "Food Street" to satisfy his hunger. Finally, he returned home and began training in "Body Extreme."
It's worth noting that, aside from a meeting synced by another shadow clone a week ago, nothing particularly noteworthy had happened in the village. So, Seimei just skimmed through the updates.
Time flew, and soon it was the next day.
Seimei enjoyed a relaxing "day off" before heading back to Moon Island to start another round of intense training.
As expected, the investigation in the Hidden Stone Village finally caught the attention of Obito Uchiha. After piecing together what had happened, Obito immediately zeroed in on Seimei as the prime suspect and came looking for him.
But Obito seemed wary of him. Beyond some verbal warnings, all he did was subtly probe about where Seimei's Wood Release came from.
Seimei, of course, played dumb, denying everything—even the fact that he'd impersonated Obito to infiltrate the Hidden Stone Village.
With no solid evidence, Obito had no choice but to leave, frustrated.
When Seimei learned all this through his shadow clone's memories, he just smirked coldly and threw himself back into training.
Dealing with someone like Obito was straightforward—know their weaknesses, understand their goals, and you've got the upper hand. Seimei knew exactly what Obito was after, so he wasn't worried about him flipping out. This gave Seimei the confidence to push back without fear.
As a result, Obito didn't dare make any rash moves, which gave Seimei more room to grow.
Of course, Seimei didn't let his guard down. He instructed his wood clones stationed in the Hidden Cloud and Hidden Mist Villages to keep an eye out for any moves Obito might make. The Hidden Stone situation had taught him not to rely too heavily on his own assumptions.
Better safe than sorry.
And just like that, half a month passed in a flash.
Before he knew it, it was the end of the month.
That evening, on the open field in the center of Moon Island, Seimei dispelled his "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique" and absorbed the past hour's worth of training experiences and memories from his clones. Suddenly, his mind buzzed with clarity.
Out of nowhere, he gained a new understanding of how to integrate his physical strengthening process into "Body Extreme."
Without hesitation, he began experimenting right there.
Time ticked by, second by second. Nearly an hour later, Seimei snapped out of his focused state.
Checking his status panel, he saw that "Body Extreme" was no longer stuck at level 7 (0/0). It had jumped to level 7 (1/20000)! That's right—it had broken through its limit and could now improve again.
As for the skill's effects…
Seimei closed his eyes and started practicing "Body Extreme" again, carefully sensing the forces within his body.
First was the guiding force from "Human's Control," intangible and formless, like a steering wheel directing the overall path of his evolution to keep it on track.
Next was the Yang Release chakra condensed through the "Palm Sage Technique," serving as both the energy source and the driving force for his evolution.
Finally, there was his massive pool of regular chakra.
Under the guidance of "Body Extreme," these forces surged through his chakra pathways, stimulating his body's cells and triggering mutations. This led to bloodline evolution, reflected on his panel as progress in his Byakugan's development.
That was how it used to work.
But now, as Seimei practiced the optimized "Body Extreme," these forces began merging into one. They simultaneously pushed his bloodline evolution and strengthened his body.
At first, the combined effect wasn't as strong as training the two separately. But as time went on and Seimei got the hang of it, the results started catching up. He could tell that once "Body Extreme" reached level 8, 9, or even the uncharted level 10, its effects would far surpass training the two aspects individually.
More importantly, this two-in-one approach would save him a ton of time.
Figuring this out, Seimei paused the technique and opened his eyes. Standing there, he thought for a moment before muttering, "Looks like I need to rethink my daily training schedule."
With "Body Extreme" breaking through its limit, it was time to reallocate his training time and chakra distribution across his skills.
But first, he needed to test whether the optimized "Body Extreme" could be practiced inside the volcano and if the environment there could speed up his progress.
With that in mind, Seimei didn't waste any time. He locked onto the Flying Thunder God mark inside the volcano and teleported there.
Standing on the central platform in the cavern, surrounded by lightning chakra, he began practicing "Body Extreme" methodically.
But after just a short while, he stopped.
The problem? Maintaining the Lightning Release chakra cloak on his body took too much mental focus. It left him unable to properly channel his chakra according to "Body Extreme's" requirements. In this state, not only was the efficiency terrible, but the technique's core effects barely worked.
Something had to change.
But abandoning the "Lightning Release Chakra Mode" and exposing himself to the air? No way. Even though it had been over twenty days since he first entered this cavern, he still couldn't handle its harsh environment. Without the lightning cloak, he wouldn't last long.
Was he supposed to pop back to the surface every few minutes? The chakra cost of teleporting back and forth would be astronomical, even for him.
For a moment, Seimei was stumped.
As he pondered, his gaze drifted to the magma below. Suddenly, an idea hit him, and he looked up.
He'd almost forgotten—above this cavern was the first chamber. The environment there was still rough, but way more manageable than here. More importantly, his body could already withstand it.
That meant he wouldn't need to maintain the "Lightning Release Chakra Mode" anymore. He could focus entirely on practicing "Body Extreme."
The only question now was whether training the optimized "Body Extreme" in the first chamber would be more efficient than strengthening his body in the volcano and then spending two hours outside to evolve his Byakugan.
After thinking it over, Seimei decided to test it himself.
Without wasting another second, he activated the "Flying Thunder God Technique" and teleported to the first chamber above.
Standing on the familiar platform, surrounded by familiar scenery, Seimei didn't pause to reminisce. He immediately began practicing "Body Extreme."
