With the training ground chosen, there was no point in wasting any more time.
After a quick adjustment, Seimei slipped into Sage Mode and kicked off a new round of training.
He unleashed Limit of the Body over and over again.
This time, though, his focus wasn't primarily on his physical evolution. Instead, he zeroed in on the Byakugan, which was evolving in sync with his body.
He carefully tracked the flow of Sage Chakra pouring into his Byakugan, feeling it evolve bit by bit.
An hour later, he wrapped up his training.
With a flicker of thought, Seimei cast Flying Thunder God Technique and teleported to Moon Island.
"Phew…"
He let out a long breath and stood still, letting his body recover naturally.
It was clear that, compared to previous sessions, the toll on his body this time was noticeably heavier.
Right now, he looked like a boiled shrimp, his skin flushed red from head to toe.
Thanks to training with Limit of the Body, his clothes were shielded by the chakra that radiated from him, blocking most of the heat.
Otherwise, with the intense heat in there, an hour would've left him stark naked.
And that was just the heat.
On top of that, the high pressure inside the training ground kept him in a constant state of being "squeezed," forcing his body to push back.
Then there were the toxic gases evaporating from the magma, seeping into his body with every breath, wreaking havoc from the inside.
All of this demanded his full effort to resist.
But it was exactly this relentless struggle that allowed his body to evolve at a faster rate.
That said, his body's evolution speed wasn't the focus of this test. Right now, he wanted to figure out how fast his Byakugan was progressing.
With that in mind, Seimei opened his proficiency panel.
After roughly an hour of training, his Byakugan's evolution progress had increased by about six points.
Doing the math, that meant he could gain around 100 evolution points per day.
That number was about a third less than before.
And that was just an estimate based on past experience—the real drop was likely even steeper.
After all, his body had just undergone a transformation, and he'd switched to a new training ground. Logically, he should've gained more evolution points.
But now, it was only 100.
So, the actual decrease was probably greater than a third.
Clearly, his earlier guess was spot-on: after this latest evolution, the difficulty of advancing his Byakugan had shot up significantly.
Still, at full effort, he could still rack up 100 evolution points a day.
That speed was… acceptable, barely.
Pushing the thought aside, Seimei didn't dwell on it. He closed the panel, and with a flicker of thought, he dispelled his Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.
In an instant, all his shadow clones—both on and off the island—dissolved.
A flood of chakra, natural energy, and memories rushed into his mind.
Seimei deftly sorted the chakra and natural energy, storing them properly, then immediately sifted through the memories, absorbing and processing the training experience they held.
Once he'd fully digested the experience, he moved on to test the theoretical chakra ceiling and recovery speed boosts from his latest physical and mental attribute increases.
Since he hadn't had time to test them separately, he had to evaluate the combined effects.
First up: his theoretical chakra ceiling.
Like always, Seimei calmed his mind and fully activated Chakra Refinement Technique, digging into his potential.
In the past, it took him about half an hour to get a solid read on this.
But this time, it took a full hour.
After an hour, Seimei stopped probing his potential.
He opened his panel and checked the increase in his chakra ceiling.
Then, he compared his condition before and after the hour.
Finally, he concluded: his physical attribute going from 33 to 34 and his mental attribute from 35 to 36 had boosted his theoretical chakra ceiling by about 13 million points.
No doubt about it—that was a massive jump.
But while the increase was huge, it wasn't that outrageous.
Last time, when his physical attribute went from 32 to 33, his chakra ceiling rose by 6 million points. When his mental attribute went from 34 to 35, it added another 4.5 million.
Together, that was 10.5 million points.
As everyone knows, the higher your base attributes climb, the bigger the gap between each point—and the greater the rewards.
So, a 13-million-point increase from this round of attribute boosts wasn't too surprising.
Clearing his mind, Seimei didn't linger on it. He steadied himself, waited until he was mostly recovered, then paused the Chakra Refinement Technique.
Next, he opened his panel again, quietly monitoring his chakra's natural recovery while keeping an eye on the "Chakra" stat.
Time ticked by, second by second.
About ten minutes later, Seimei stopped observing.
His panel showed his chakra had increased by 259,722 points.
Ten minutes equaled 259,722 points. An hour would be 1,558,332 points. Over a full 24-hour day, that came to 37,400,000 points.
In other words, with enough energy, his natural chakra recovery rate now gave him 37.4 million usable chakra points per day.
That was 7.3 million more than last time.
So, this round's chakra recovery speed boost was 7.3 million points.
Compared to the recovery speed increases from his physical attribute (32 to 33) and mental attribute (34 to 35)—which together added 5.7 million points (3.5 million + 2.2 million)—this boost wasn't too wild.
It was only about 1.5 million points more than the previous combined increase.
But no matter how you sliced it, after this, he'd have an extra 7.3 million chakra points to work with daily.
With that, even if his physical attribute boost increased the chakra cost of strengthening his body, he wouldn't have to worry.
After one last glance at the panel, Seimei closed it and started thinking about his next training steps.
Since he'd finished testing everything he needed to, it was time to make a training plan.
Well… there wasn't much to plan, really.
To close the gap between his physical and mental attributes as quickly as possible, he couldn't keep pushing his Sharingan's evolution.
So, like before, he'd stick to round-the-clock training with Limit of the Body.
But there was one thing he needed to keep a close eye on.
Once his Byakugan's evolution progress hit around 10,000 points, he'd need to tweak the focus of Limit of the Body to stop stimulating the Byakugan.
That way, he could avoid another mental attribute boost—and prevent his mind and body from falling out of balance again.
