Nalia threw her head back and burst into mocking laughter, her shoulders trembling violently from the force of it.
"Haa… you're hilarious." Nalia wiped the tear from her eyes, then her expression turned icy cold as she looked at the woman.
"What made you think I would be tempted by your beggarly wealth? One of my properties could feed ten generations of your family—and the generations before them. Now tell me what I need to know…or I'll gouge... out one of your tongues," Nalia muttered with deliberate pauses as she slashed across their faces, carving V-shaped wounds on both women.
They hissed and moaned in pain as warm blood streamed down their faces, slid past their chins, and dripped onto the ground.
"P-Please…don't, I'll talk! Ask me anything." One of the women cried out, her tears, snot, and blood dripping down her face, making her look pathetic and repulsive.
