She scurried off him like a startled rabbit, landing on all fours in the snow.

She tried to speak, but then she saw the giggling Nova, and White, who had the corner of his lips shifted slightly in an amused grin.

Nova said, and they both watched her rise to her feet,

She said, then left.
Nova did not attempt to follow, clinging harder to White.
"You sure it's okay?"
He whispered into her ears, as her eyebrows fluttered open once more.
"She missed you... just like I did. So, it's okay... just this once."
She added, and White chuckled.
