They were lines, tallies, and symbols that were incomprehensible, and White's jaw fell when he noticed they covered every part of the cave.
His hand reached for the runic watch on his wrist, and he tapped twice on it, activating the recording camera.
He couldn't decipher the runes, leaving him unable to understand them, so he simply recorded every single symbol.
The entire exercise took about an hour before he finished.
When he was done, he confirmed it by sending everything straight out toward Commander Zoltan, as he had been instructed.
He waited for thirty minutes more before he felt a green beep from his watch.
That was the confirmation that they had received the information.
"My mission here is complete..."
White mused to himself.

With the simulation broken, the old exit that had disappeared had reappeared once more, allowing him to easily step out.
But the second he took a step outside,
