"You have a military discipline to life," the golden-haired woman noted.
"Was this your natural parental upbringing? A strict father or mother?"
She asked.
"Who knows,"
White answered, not interested in answering the question.
He knew where he got his thinking from. It was tens of years of training in the most military-focused academy in the world.
Even now that he had regressed and was on a path to starting afresh, it was still impossible to cancel all of that out.
"So you are the Prison Warden?"
White asked, turning to her.
She had been asking all about him. He wanted to know at least a thing or two about her.
"That's right."
"So, you're gonna stay here, stuck with me... forever?"
He teased.
She turned her emotionless golden eyes to him,
"Do you wish to remain stuck here... forever?"
She asked fiercely.
White paused before replying.
"Actually, I don't."
"Good. And yes, I wouldn't be taking my eyes off of you."
